Why is it we are always so slow in our transfer activity. I was hoping things would change under this new lot. really hope they'll be some new additions/ announcements in the next week or 2.we're into July now and still no additions officially other than Michael Keane resigning . & whilst I'm writing this post it's just been announced that Arsenal are in advanced negotiations with Gyokeres and are signing Zubimendi for £50m. ?.

This had been batted backwards and forwards for a few weeks now Elvis. A combination of getting our house in order with staff appointments, sorting contracts, PSR etc. There’ll be plenty going on behind the scenes. Lots of Prem teams are in the same boat.

I think that we need to see what squad we have at the end of the summer window. Plenty of time to bitch and moan after that if the management has not lived up to our expectations. I think that it has been said before that it will take more than one window to undo all the mistakes of the past.

I think we are struggling to get players in. We are one of about 5 clubs not in European football, to say I'm nervous about what is coming in is an understatement. The rumours about Harrison coming back scare me, looks like nothing is changing and if anything things look worse at the moment. I really hope I'm wrong and moyse makes the magic happen.

Why is it we have so many fans who like to moan?
We’re under a new regime, we’ve just appointed a whole new recruitment team.
We were also hamstrung by PSR and couldn’t do much business until 1st July.
It’s only 6 days later.
We’ve signed Alcaraz, we’ve extended Branthwaites contract, we’ve given Keane a 1yr deal covering us at centreback for the season, Gana has allegedly signed a 2yr contract extension and we’ve apparently signed Barry.
Thats a fairly decent start to the window - imagine there's quite a lot going on in the background.
Let’s just sit back and let those doing the recruitment get on with it and us as supporters just support the team.

I think I'm worried because the team is back for preseason and we would struggle to get a 5 a side game going, there is so much to do, has gueye actually signed, is Barry actually a target, we know nothing until they are on the site. It takes us for days to do the photoshoots. So that's 4 days of training missed. I don't want us to be messing about down the bottom again.

I think there are some things more important than football and we are being respectful, that poor family only had the funeral the other day so to come out all guns blazing with a new signing would be very poor, low key announcements like Keanes extension and as per the bobble and fab so is Gana’s can slide under that radar.
I’m sure we’ll all be pleasantly surprised when they start in the coming week .

I’m very underwhelmed by our current new owners so far…they’ve made no statement of intent thus far with lack of signings made…not much ambition show yet…but I’ll wait until the start of the season before casting my final conclusion.

Think Gingerdan has said it all.
Think we are all worried Dev and it doesn’t help when we are linked to the likes of Harrison but Moyes already sorted out the Doucs situation as he was underperforming and I trust he’ll do the same with Harrison. I hope so anyway!
We will hopefully know more in a week or two….

So arsenal are signing 2 players that would have no interest in coming to us. I never understand why us fans compare what other clubs do compared to us.

Underwhelmed? They are doing everything Moshiri didn’t do. We now have football people running the club and a decent manager.
They have kept Branthwaite, when everyone said he would go, and signed Alcaraz which everyone wanted.
I have been very impressed with them so far.

People need to take a breath, it’s not even close to being as desperate as people are making out. Don’t worry about what Arsenal are doing, their fans will tell you it’s taken them 3 years to buy a striker.

Branthwaite and Garna on new contracts are like a couple of top signings. Alcarez signing permanently and even a 12 month extension for Keane all seem like quite a busy week.
If we get Barry over the line and maybe even someone like Sorloth in as an extra striker then that's very good business.
By the end of July, we'll look at our signings and hopefully all be happy little toffees.

Throwing money at signing left right and centre is where we went wrong under Moshiri. I’m quite happy doing proper due diligence on players first. We’ve got a while before season starts so no need to panic just yet. COYB.
