I couldn't care less if he hasn't got pace playing in the pivot mate. Still managed to score 9 goals and get 5 assists for Villa in his last season in the PL.

Kevin Sheedy wasn't exactly rapid, but what he could do was open a defence with one pass. Lad had a wand of a left foot, and had Reid and Bracewell doing the hard graft.
Don't want a dogs of war side full of players who just run around a lot. In Gueye and Garner we have the grafters, what we need now is the talent to support that. This lad is not short on talent.

Pace isn’t everything. Arteta I didn’t think was very quick. Neither Cahill. Boy I would love for those to be playing for us in their prime.
Luiz is a very skilled player. I’d be happy with this signing if it would be a goer.

Luiz is top drawer miles better than anything we have in the middle would love him. Can do everything and do t think he slow just makes everything look easy so you think he is slow.
