I've heard today that we are interested in the Brazilian Atletico Madrid Winger Samuel Lino. He can play either wing but preferably on the left. Valued at around €20m (£17m) but Atletico are prepared to listen to offers for him.
I've never heard of the guy so don't know what he is like.
Any Eds know much about him or if we are actually interested?
{Ed025's Note - i have not heard of him OS, to be honest a left winger is not seen as a priority imo mate unless he can play other positions, just another name thrown out there i expect..

Does he play in the RW?
If not, move on and let’s find someone who can!

Good name for a winger.

Heavens knows why they don't just go for Fellows. A RW who we already had interest in.

It's a no from me. Spends most of his time on the floor.

Cheers Ed, probably is just enough bit of lazy journalism. A Madrid probably won't rid and we've been threw into the mix because we need a Winger.
{Ed025's Note - yeah mate, it wont be the last one we are linked to either..

Everton fans should be excited about the links to Lino, as he’s exactly the type of player that their squad is missing.
The Toffees lacked creativity and explosiveness on the wings last season, and that was a big factor behind their lack of goals. That lack of creative magic in the final third has been evident in Everton’s pre-season friendlies as well. Lino is a pacy winger who isn’t afraid to take on his defender and is more than capable of beating his man. He can create chances out of nothing and is the type of player to get the crowd on their feet. He could add that attacking spark that Everton were desperately lacking at times last season.
Lino’s arrival could stretch defences, open up space in midfield, and make Everton a more exciting team to watch. If Moyes wants to be involved in the race for European places and domestic honours, signing a flair player like Lino is a smart and ambitious move.

Apart from we have two players already who play on the LW and no players who play on the RW. It’s be like signing three 10s again….

I would actually play Ndiaye as a 10 or at least try him there pre season.

Alcaraz at 10 surely?

Yeah fairshout BB guess DM has some decisions to make i just think ndiaye is wasted on the wing but I wouldn't complain if charly gets the 10 spot either. Decent problem to have. just wish we could sort out this RW position and I'm sure they will soon.

Im worried that moyes sees mcneil as a suitable RW. Or moving Ndiaye to RW. Pace and trickery is needed to stretch opposition defence.
