Could people stop going on about giving Dacoure a new contract. The guy is playing in a key position in the team, and so far he has only contributed 3 goals and 1 assist in 28 games.
As an attacking midfielder those stats are shocking, and at 32 he's not going to get any better.
Time to let him go now.

Totally agree. Running around a lot to little effect, not pressing the opposition, not being able to make a forward pass or even a five yard sideways pass and stopping an attack in its tracks when players have made a run by turning round and passing the ball backwards and constantly losing the ball resulting in an attack by the opposition are not grounds for a new contract.
I think that we are all grateful for the few important goals that he has scored, but in all honesty he has been poor for at least 2 years.
It's the start of a new era and time to move on. You only have to look at the difference Alcaraz makes to our attacking play when he is given the opportunity.

{Ed025's Note - thats spot on for me SB..

While I do agree that Dacoure isn't the future for us, I am a little concerned about the number of changes that are coming this summer. Forest have had a great season this year, but look at the mess they were in last year after buying so many players. I believe we probably do need to hold on to one or two players we would probably like to see gone, just to ensure we have a little bit of continuity going into next season when we gradually ease those players out.
Would keep Gana and probably Dacoure
And get rid of Harrison, Lindstrom, Broja, Keane. Retire Coleman (coaching team) and Young.
However, if we could get Mangala back, then let Dacoure go as Mangala knows the club. Would keep Alcaraz.

Banter site!

Yeah all that is correct but not including him, we need to keep some of the 15. Don't we?

If we can get them on reduced contracts I’d keep DCL, Gueye and Doucs but they would be squad players so would need to take 50% cuts which I don’t see them doing. I’d also offer Virginia a further 12 months if he’d take it. Young and Keane have to go. Probably Doucs and DCL also as they won’t take huge pay cuts.

Lindstrom, Harrison and Broja can all go back at the end of their loans. I’d keep Alcaraz or try and get a further 12 month loan (though isn’t his loan an obligation to buy? ) . The tricky one for me is Mangala. He looked the part before doing his cruciate and we have seen before how serious injuries lead to players being a shadow of their former self. Bolaisie, Townsend, Besic and Oviedo to name more recent examples but I’m sure others will remember players who were never the same after such serious injuries.

Gueye I would keep, for his age the guy has an amazing engine and does a solid job. Not sure any of our loan players have shown enough to warrant extending or purchasing them.
Moyes has a busy summer for sure. Hopefully we get it right this time.

It's a lot of work and a big summer, probably the biggest in our history. Nobody has a clue but one thing's for sure. It's going to divide opinion like never before and some business will be exciting and a lot will be between underwhelming and mind bogglingly frustrating. The biggest problem is the size of the rebuild revolution. I expect a lot of anger on this site the coming 3.5 months. It's going to make me chuckle I hope and not get too moronic.

100 percent I'd keep gana. Dacoure dcl Keane I would let go. Harrison and lindstom no thanks. Sign alcaraz avoid mangala (seen it time and time again after that kind of injury) I think broja has unfinished business and we are short in that department so I would like to give him another season on loan but renegotiate his wages!

Would like to see a decent left back and right back, a striker and more pace on the wing.

Have alcaraz as a number 10. Maybe mcneil more as a 10 as he's slow but I think he's only good enough to be a squad player.
