With very few exceptions, we have all, on this site and others, begged the club to give us a chance of survival, and that means only one thing, get that spanish fraud out of our club. If that does not happen, and relegation follows, does anyone expect our great evertonion chairman, to stand up and take responsibility. It can only be his ego, for making a dogs breakfast of an appointment, that is keeping martinez in his job.Yes, to pay him off would come as a major cost, but the price of not doing so, could break the back of our club and leave us like leeds, wondering around in the wilderness, going from one doggey owner to the next.

Bill would have to stand up and say sorry, made a mistake. If Martinez interview had been conducted by considering experience, qualifications and achievements he should not have been appointed. But football clubs do not live in the real world. What bugs me the most is that plan A isn't working so alternatives have to be tried. Although we don't want the board interfering in playing affairs and telling the manager what to do, something should be coming down from upstairs to say things are not good enough and improvement needed. This then opens the door to negotiate lower compensation should the need arise. I can't think for a minute that the board are just going to sit back and let the worst happen, they just cannot.
NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM remember.
