Remember that full back that we had that struggled when he first came? He found it hard to integrate into the squad, shyness being one of his problems, yet he blossomed into one of the finest LB's this club has ever had. Leighton Baines was his name and he went on to have a great career for us.

Let's not write off a young lad that hasn't really got going just yet, let him adjust to how our club is run and judge him once he gets the game time his fee expects. Some players, even if they are from these shores, still take time to adapt. Dibbling could just be one of those who takes time.

Dibbling came with massive expectations but hasn't worked out so far.
None of us know why and we must trust the training staff to find a way to unlock his potential.
£45 million was a huge amount to pay for him but now he's here we have to give him time.

Why was O’Brien poor? He set one up for Ndiaye who couldn’t even kick the bloody thing. But oh wait we can’t pick on the golden boy. Easier to have a pop at others, even those who hardly get on the pitch.

So Ndiaye gets dragged down at a corner and we get nothing, worse the player who pulls him down clears the corner. That is where the inconsistency shows the most, corners are just a lottery depending on who the officials are.
Oh and Garners crosses have been shocking.

It’s not often that I think the scores could be almost anything, either way.

I’m obviously hoping for the best, but also won’t be totally downhearted if the result goes the other way as we’re getting on the right track as a team.

I’m going to go for a 1-2 away win (with us holding on at the end) .

Would be very happy with a point, I actually think Arsenal at home next week is the easier game. We haven’t won at Chelsea for over 30 years, it’s just seems to be one of those places where something daft always happens to us.

We've generally been getting results against teams which set up the same week in, week out (United, Forest) , and getting pumped by teams who adapt to their opponent (Newcastle, Tottenham) .

Completely agree that a defeat would be disheartening considering recent results, but wouldn't be shocked if we go and battered 3-0, especially with them in shaky form (we LOVE to help out a struggling team ?)

But, obviously would love otherwise!
