Should Simms start v Spurs next game? Where will Gray them play? IF DCL is fit would we start him over Simms or Gray?

Don’t think we will see DCL much this season mate, I would put Simms up front with McNeil maybe a good partnership could happen.

Gray starts for me. Glad to see Simms finally do well but I think an impact sub with 15mins to go is perfect for him considering the pressure of a relegation fight and his previous beige performances to date. He's young and doesn't deserve to be hung out to dry. Nor does Gray deserve to be benched again. Simms will be very happy to have made himself an option in SDs eyes and should definitely come on every game to end of season. And I hope he does the business again from the bench and opposition depending, gets a start or 2 but he's not quite ready yet to be the main man. Let's not kill the kid.

I’d drop Gueye and go 4-4-2.
Gueye always looks like he’s got a booking in him and I actually think we played quite well when he went off.

He is not a kid, he is 22. We need a striker who can score goals and is strong enough to go up against bit centre-backs. He needs a chance and we don't have anyone else.

Simms needs a run of games from the start, he’s the type of striker that we need, he needs to gain confidence in himself and that can only happen if the manager plays him from the start. Gray should go to the bench to make way, Gray can come on and in the 2nd half to keep the pressure on
Gueye was our best player against Brentford for me Onna looks lost at times, he seems to be in no man’s land, he needs to get involved more
Godfrey looked at bit suspect yesterday and his use of the ball was terrible at times, I was very surprised by The substitution by taking off Coleman ( unless injured) I thought a straight swap for Godfrey.

I would only imagine that if SD does not start him, then he must see him as 'impact' atm?
Personally I hope that's not the case, and he does start because from my armchair seat, after that very good goal against CFC he surely is champing at the bit to bang in some more?

I don’t think it was fair tbh to give him his start in the derby. He done ok when he came on at home when he put Doucoure clean through.
Personally I would start him next game as strikers are all about confidence and with the crowd behind us too and hopefully Spurs unrest continues.
It would be harsh to drop Gray so maybe play him instead of Iwobi or as GingerDan said play 442 but with gray dropping in and more of a free role.
Also would like to see Garner get the chance to see what he can do bringing him off the bench to replace Gueye in games. Tbf to Gueye I don’t think he was meant to play as many games as he has considering his age.
I would also like Patterson coming in but wow how good as Seamus been over the last few weeks since coming in!

I’d play McNeil and Gray on the wings, with Simms upfront and Iwobi in the middle. Would need to drop Gueye to accommodate though.

I’d drop Iwobi back into the midfield 3 and drop Guaye. Move Gray to the right and stick Ellis up top for a game, give McNeil something to aim at.

I'd let Sean pick who he wants to play in whatever position he wants to play them. Isn't doing to bad in my opinion. See's and knows more than anyone on here.

Let's give the lad some space to breathe, it's one game and one goal so let's not get too carried away and put any undue pressure on him to continue that form. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy that he is up and running but I think he should still be coming off the bench for the next few games. Score a few more and then a starting place is deserved. Before yesterday, he's had a bit of a mixed bag when playing for us. Yesterday, he took the piss out of a quality CB so he definitely has something about him. If we can get another 4 or 5 goals out of him before the end of the season then it was right to bring him back. Really want this lad to kick on and make himself a career with us, fingers crossed lads ??.

I’d pick Simms up front and play Biscuit out on the wing to run the channel. Dorris the tea lady in midfield to distract everyone with a giant table of tea cakes and the like. I’d make Anders Limpar captain and play 15 outfield players like a Rugby Union team.
We could get something from the game then….
