Going to a family dinner today and my lad has asked if he can wear his Everton kit. He's 11 years old and proud to be an Everton fan like me and his Grandad. I found myself telling him to wear something else as I don't want him to be embarrassed by other kids taking the piss. Must admit I've found myself doing this a lot lately and I hate it.
It just shows how all this affects us the fans and I don't think the club or players understand it. How has it come to this!
Is everyone else the same or is it just me?

Think its sad state of affairs toffeeblue as you said there about you're lad an wearing the Everton kit i had to stop watching us for short period of time as am shouting at the telly and going for echocardiogram appointment in 3 weeks as docs reckon me heart valves are blocked so last thing i need is keeling over watching them performances but yeah mate agree with you're post think moshiri an the clan have ruined everton and the club and dyche not helping the situation by leaving the bench late and then decides to bring young on in 70th minute when we are 1.0 down he's 40 years old plus the long ball tactic aswell its a annoying ??.

That truly is heartbreaking but fully understandable.
We always want to protect our kids although I think this says more about others than you and your lad who just want to show their love for their team.

Yes look after yourself Andy. Hope everything works out for you. Charlie, i had a lovely day with the family thanks and my lad wore his kit after all and was proud as punch. Kids never see what we see so all good for him.
Just wish our players wore their shirts with as much pride. Just read we are further in debt. This once great club has been ruined.
