I thought Marino from Arsenal at first. Agreed Mainoo but suspect he will get lots of offers with some prepared to pay beyond our current means.

Where would he fit in? Can play couple of positions but equally why not give young Armstrong a chance as understudy to develop, after all it's what Utd did with lobbies mainoo.

Utd could sack their manager before the end of the window so I expect all of those in their supposed 'bomb squad' to hang fire on moves until the very last minute. He would be decent though.
