Watched the end of the United game and have to say if we really want to get Mainoo then now is our best chance. The lad is clearly not happy about the way he is being treated by his manager, and is looking a shadow of the oplayer who burst into the England set up.
Think if we could get him we might have another Grealish scenario, getting a quality player who just needs a change of environment to get him back to his best.

We need a RB as a priority. I don’t think we will get a striker on loan as there aren’t that many out there. That’s unless Isak continues to go on strike and we put in a cheeky loan bid but I don’t see that happening. Imagine that though!
Mainoo is another luxury player that would be great but I think we would struggle to afford his wages also.

He’d be a great no 9 with those players around him. Not confident it’ll happen. RB and another DM a priority, and according to Moyes, more defensive cover.

Richarlison has played more games as a CF than he has anywhere else. He has also scored more goals whilst playing in that position.
CF - 47 goals and 13 assists in 154 games
LW - 34 goals and 20 assists in 114 games
RW - 10 goals and 5 assists in 49 games
That doesn't even take into account his games and goals for Brazil.

Looks good at all 3 if you ask me. Better than what we’ve got as a no9 and he’s been playing no9 all season. Can clearly cover many positions too but deep down believe it’s a non starter also. One can wish, few days to go.
