I wonder if I am the only evertonian not falling over myself with the potential signing of Jack Grealish if its true I think the ownership have fallen into that trap of a big marquee signing without really looking at the needs of the squad as a whole I Just hope I am wrong ????.

Well time will tell, we as supporters can only observe and have opinions. The owners, recruiting team and Moyes have to make the tough decisions.

I was similar to that when he was first mentioned mate, but looking at the bigger picture he is what we have been missing for seasons, someone who can actually tackle take players on and score Beto take note and we get Dibling as well both those players will transform our Team, I really hope we get them both plus a couple of others and all will be well.

Well we need a creative midfielder so.

I can see where you are coming from, but I think some players are good enough that if you get the opportunity to sign them - you take it and figure out how best to use them and keep the squad balance.

For the most part that worked with James, he left us vulnerable at the back but bought so much more in terms of creativity it didn't matter.

What Grealish does best is create space for those around him by drawing players towards him - and since most of our players seem to need at least 2 touches to set themselves anyone that can give them more space to work in would prove invaluable. Maybe that was less valuable for city.

I have my reservations but he will improve that teams creativity 100%, only worry I have is his desire to succeed and not sit on a big wage, I think moyes won't let that happen tho.

Imo if we signed him and he fits our team seamlessly and he gets his motor back, then we have a great player on our hands. The lads a game changer. Let him have free role behind striker and we will have the Villa version of grealish.

He strikes me as a lad who just wants to play football. He will improve the team, create space for other players and draw a few fouls. He would be a good signing in my opinion.

If he was lazy he'd have just done a Bale and told city last summer "sell me don't sell me, I've got a contract and I'll just sit over here until its my last day"
Find it flabbergasting some are daring to doubt his impact on a side with 5 years of relegation form and some of the worst ever GF stats. He's an absolute baller who will be a serious addition and shows new ambitions from the owners too. I'm still waiting for us to be blown out and won't believe it until its done. Rodriguez had the world's eyes on us but Grealish is domestically a superstar and if only for a season, he will raise the clubs profile more than anyone we've had since Gazza.

Beto took note last season and he will this season too. The whole idea was to bring players in who can feed the strikers cause up to now we haven’t been able to do so. Create more chances and Beto will score. DM obviously thinks so too giving him the no9 shirt.
Time to get behind the players that are going to be playing for our mighty club this season.

I believe he is a good lad, not sure he is a game changer as for me he needs good players around him. No y main worry is what it would do to our finances and dressing room.
