Someone asked the other day what time the stadium was open before the game on Sunday.
I've had an email through:
Opening times: Wall gates open at 11am, turnstiles at 12pm. Please use all available entry gates. Premium supporters can gain entry at 10.45am to enable access to hospitality entrances for the 11am opening.
Pre-match entertainment on the Budweiser Plaza – live music, big screen, food and drink (including alcohol) and an increased number of toilets. Local food vendors on site. On-stage entertainment begins at 12pm. Plaza closes at kick-off (2pm) .
The Western Wharf will be open, but only after team arrivals (circa 12.30pm) . Fans can use the tunnel under the Western Terrace to see players entering the stadium.
Everton Official Store: Open from midday to 5pm.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium Ticket Office (south-east corner) will be open from 11am. Look out for fan support around the stadium, wearing blue jackets.
There's more info on the website.
{Ed025's Note - great info John, thanks mate..

I can't wait Ed. I'm worked up about the lack of movement on signings but I forget all evils on matchday and sing my bloomin lungs out. I never boo or hurl abuse, no matter how bad it is. I've got here to get rid of all that haha.
The test events were great but this is it, finally! Our first game at our magnificent, jealous inducing, stadium!
I've been going past our stadium since before we even got the land and to see it transformed into this Jewel on the Mersey, takes my breath away.
If you haven't been before, I recommend going to the south stand upper and taking a look out of the huge glass windows, its stunning. Or before going in, take a walk to the west stand and tunnel. Depending on the weather, if it's nice take a few minutes by the Everton Way and take in the view there of the liver birds, hydraulic tower clock and river. It just blows you away.
Hopefully though, the view inside the stadium for 90 minutes is even better and we see a team playing a way that matches the stadium. I can't guarantee that one though.
{Ed025's Note - great stuff John, i gave my season ticket up a number of years ago due to health reasons but im desperate to see the ground in all its glory, i followed the construction from day one and have been outside the ground but not in it, that will change very shortly though mate..

Same as that BMD, took my lad to the last game at the old lady and promised him I’d get tickets to the first game with the new one. Delighted to say we’ll be there, and he’s told me we’ve got to be there by 11am and I’ve got to take him to the new shop to get him shirt with Grealish on it, so I’m doing my bit to increase the transfer kitty.

ED we must have sat next to each other going the game for years. I used to get the 27 myself every game.
When we moved to West Derby, me and my lads were too superstitious and still got the bus to sheil road and got the 27.
We've moved to Woolton now so it'd take about 10 hours getting to the game going that way but it's strange it's coincided with the last few years of carnage at the club. I'm hoping the ground move breaks that. ?.
{Ed025's Note - i was originally from Wavertree Rd John so it was handy for me mate, im in Gateacre now and have good transport routes to town but will probably get a lift or a cab..
