Having watched Catterick's youngsters of the 1960s and seen them mature into great, great players and play beautiful football the Everton way, it is very difficult to watch what we have these days.
RM will be gone sooner or later and our club will go on forever.
I know managers can't just throw young players in and expect them to compete against seasoned internationals these days but they deserve more than a couple of minutes of injury time.
Connolly and Davies looked the part and Browning played well against the reds a while back.
Who would we like to see start in our remaining games?
Dowell instead of Lukaku, Gethin at right back and Holgate at centre back would do for me.
