As fans, we all crave success, and with Mr Moshiri's involvement - allied to our history - we expected to be making progress. However, it's not happening as we wanted.
How many of you would accept a period (up to 5 years) during which we could see a manager and squad given the opportunity - under a clearly communicated plan understood by the fans - to develop the club as a genuine contender for Champions League football and domestic trophies? Or would you expect instant success and bay for blood when the inevitable setbacks occur along the way forward?

I think that answers itself.

As long as someone would guarantee our remaining in the top flight during that period you mention, I am on board BobbyC1878.

It has to be with a new manager. Sam is clearly not the answer. I don't like chopping manager all the time but We've made a huge mistake here. he's a good manager with low expectations but when you are a club with a tradition of quality football he is not in that bracket.
