Liverppol showed last night that supporting your team to that extra mile (maybe not smashing a coach) can make a massive difference. Yes, it's been a tough season and most of us have our opninions of Sam and that's fine but for 90 minutes on Saturday we need to give the lads everything we've got. A shocking atmosphere at Goodison for this sort of game will result in them picking us apart. If we can be behind the team for 90 minutes then we've done our part. And if it's the same hold no ambition or passion performance then we can vent our anger after the match but the players need us on Saturday.

100% agree Joe. We've said this before but get out your frustrations here but for 90 mins make us that 12th man at the game.

We can do this on Saturday. I truly believe that.

Come On You Blues.

Thinking back to last Saturday, how do supporters get behind a performance like that? From the resounding cheer Jagielka got late on for putting in a tackle it looks as if people are more than willing to get behind the team when they are given even the merest crumbs to savour but they do need the team to offer a crumb or two.

{Ed025's Note - thats what iv been saying all along glen..

toffee, the players will get the support but last night that's all for show it was pre arranged and the tourists love it as it fits in the the media's hype that Liverpool have the best fans in the world which couldn't be further from the truth.

I agree to a extent John but it has to start with the players I'm fed of people saying the atmosphere is terrible our fans need to create a magical atmosphere well for that it starts on the pitch and nothing gets the goodison crowd going like a full blooded challenge or a early chance on goal unfortunately we haven't had that once under Sam the players are going through the motions jogging around as it feels like they know Sam is gone in the summer and that then feeds into the fans that's my take anyway and I expect the atmosphere to again be poor on Sat oh plus the early kick off never helps either.

To me, too often we start like an away team who have been instructed by the manager to quieten the crowd. The only problem is that being a home crowd it doesn't go quiet, it turns sour.
