So garbutt is on the bench despite being fit and our 2 first choice left backs injured, not to mention a 19 year old right footed centre back being played in his position. he's definitely gone. But good luck to brendan gallowat today, hope he does well!.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Real shame that as he looked a brilliant player. Galloway did play left back as well as center back for I think it was MK Dons but don't hold me to that.

This can only mean one of two things Swan. Either Garbutt is not 100% fit or he is being punished for not signing his contract and wanting away. Strange move playing Galloway out of position, on his debut of all games. Would make more sense to take any pressure off the lad by playing him in a familiar position but, then again, this is RM we are dealing with here. Let's hope the lad has a decent debut. Agreed, the thing with galloway is, if he has a bad game not only will he get personal abuse from the silly fans on twitter but martinez will be setting up for a fall as people will say if garbutt had played the result would be different etc. i'm guessing its because he hasn't or won't be signing as it doesn't take 2 weeks to recover from tonsilitis I don't think.

Hang on, what don't you get? If Luke is refusing to sign why would we waste valuable game time for another kid if he isn't going to be an Everton player next season anyway? I'm not a fan of Martinez but on this he is spot on. Garbutt can do one if he has decided to leave, blood others rather than give him more playing time

Agree with svenny if this is the case but as usual we all only guessing but good to get win unfortunately no Europa which will please most on here not sure why top ten is also good considering the not so good season we have had just hope now that for once we will add to our squad without selling first
