How many of you remember the media criticism (especially from newspaper journalist Martin Samuel) of Everton for having players like Barry, Lukaku and Deulofeu on loan a couple of seasons ago?
Well, I wonder what he thinks of West Ham United (the club he's said he supports) having four players - Jenkinson, Moses, Song and Lanzini - on loan this season?

You can have four domestic loans per season under Premier League rules, but only two at the same time and the two players must be from different clubs. So you could have two domestic loans in the Summer transfer window and change them for two other domestic loans in the January transfer window.
For West Ham, the two domestic loans are Jenkinson (from Arsnal) and Moses (from Chelsea). The other two loans (Song and Lanzini) are from foreign clubs - and I'm not sure what restrictions on the number of these are in place with FIFA, UEFA, the FA or the Premier League. The Football League do have limits - following the Watford scenario of a couple of seasons ago when they had loads of foreign loanees - but I don't know for sure what the Premier League rules are for foreign loans.
