Ross Barkley is clearly a gifted player and a genuine lad.
His development was obviously affected by the absence due to injury while still in his late teens.
He has been imho also adversely affected by the way certain managers have treated him and how they used him tactically and how they have coached him (especially re his decision-making, his positioning and team-play, and his tactical awareness) .
He may still only be in his early 20s, but he's been an Everton first-team player for several seasons, played plenty of Premier League matches, and played for England. He SHOULD be at the top of his game now with a glittering future ahead of him.
I really do hope that RK and his coaching staff can get Ross to truly realise his potential at long last and he becomes one of the Everton greats.
Comments anyone?
