Hey Ed002, I understand people's nervousness. I remember Nigel Martin "was signing" for us in the 80's. then we let him go and talk to Leeds Utd. he signed for them and was amazing. We eventually got him when he was about 31 years old. Then there was Stan Collymore coming to sign for us. where did he end up? Then the last transfer window . we had Sissoko signing. we had Axel Witsel. we had Lucaz Perez. we had Gabbiadini. All I can say, is that "is it any wonder Evertonians get nervous when the silence is deafening? "

It is like an absolute joke the way the Everton fans have behaved over the last two windows. The lack of communication is direct fallout from the awful behavior and abuse in the summer. That should not be a suprise as you were told at the time.}

I agree that some of our fans have behaved in a terrible way. But I also liked the post someone put on here yesterday about Harry Catterick would say a player was ours after about 5 games. not before he had signed on!

Come on peeps we had all this last season and during the summer. We have the set up (or nearly) in place for us to make a start on moving in the right direction now. Numerous people some with perhaps more sense about the Club than us mere plebs have told us patience is now what is required and yet some just plod on as if the blinkers do not allow peripheral vision. Mr Moshri will be wondering what he has got himself into if we carry on.

Our fans are no different to any other fans around the country. In given the record we have had over the last twenty odd years, I think the support has been fantastic. Try going to an away match if you want to see true support. All clubs have supporters who are natural moaners. City, Utd, Lpool, Chelsea, all have moaning supporters, and they have had success.
{Ed002's Note - Rubbish. Some clubs have toxic fans that constantly attack the hierarchy. Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton are the culprits. The Everton fans were dreadful over the summer and deserve the minimum communication from the board and owners that they are getting.}

Really. Try going to Hull away, Watford away, Sunderland away. Over the years I've heard it from them all. Even Chelsea last season, went to the game with a couple of friends, and all there supporters were moaning about how crap Hazzard was and how he should be sold. So it's ot rubbish. Or is it just an issue you have with northern teams?

Everton fans were an absolute disgrace over the summer and that is the reason why the relationship has soured - the point is nothing to do with someone moaning about Wenger. Manchester United fans did untold damage to the club by their toxic behavior and Liverpool fans have done the same - the three clubs are light years worse than anyone else. Try not to look for feeble excuses. It is embarrassing to read.}

Chelsea might not want to get rid of their owner, but the "supporters" are quick enough to want to get rid of the manager. Sadly your northern bias blinds you to what other clubs are like.

Hey guys. I think you all need to take that deep breath I was on about a while back. I actually agree with Ed that SOME of our fans behaved dreadfully through the Summer. But likewise, I tried to explain to Ed why I can understand frustration amongst some fans. and nervousness that yet another transfer might break down. It has happened so many times to us. But there is no reason to start toxic insults at each other. This is a banter site. not an insult site. To quote the old Monty Python sketch, " Is this the right room for a transfer? " etc

Degsy, I don't believe I insulted anyone. And your right this is supposed to be a banter site. But once people resort to throwing insults at you when you are trying to have a debate. Then they have lost the argument. I am not a moron or an idiot. I have a very successful business which has allowed me to retire early, and enjoy life. Perhaps others should try enjoying life too. 🌞
