Laurent Blanc won the league as manager of Bordeaux. He took over a French team that had imploded at 2010 World Cup so is used to managing big egos and the season he left PSG they didn't win the league after winning it every season under Blanc. He is a far superior and more experienced manager than anybody else we have been linked with and don't feel we would be taking a chance on him like Dyche or Silva. As far as I am concerned, this is a no brainer and can't believe he has not even been discussed.

He's also someone who probably wouldn't touch us with a bargepole at the moment.

Agree blue Tommy. As much as I'd like to have blanc or simeone it's just not going to happen.
