Any of the eds got any news on Wilshire, seemed at one point he was on his way, now nothing, what I've seen of hi at arsenal of late he's back to his best, great passer of the ball, would be an absolute brilliant player for us.
{Ed025's Note - there was talk of him coming to everton simon but im not so sure, for me he was angling for a rise and thats a common ploy by agents, he is talented but comes with a lot of baggage and i am indifferent to whether i would want him or not mayte..

I'm in agreement with ED. He done okay at Bournemout but I worry about his off the field activities. As ED says I think he is doing the same as Walcott in angling for a better deal.
What we don't need is another Rooney coming to us on a massive wage and not giving value for money.

We need to sign an athlete for midfield a big strong box to box guy and Wilshire is the polar opposite.

Totally agree with that Smit. It's the one type of midfielder we don't have. It's so passive at times that its no wonder we fail to take control of games.

I would worry about Wilshire's fitness record plus I think both he and Sigurdson in the same midfield might be a bit slow. I think we need a Silva, a DeBruyne or an Erikson who have the ability to unlock a defence. Don't think for a minute think we can get one of those 3 but, surely, wasn't that what Klassen was bought for? We need to give him a chance and if he can't make the transition to the Premiership get rid and look for the next bright young thing.
I agree we need a box to box midfielder but think Doucore of Watford, Nzonzi or Fred might be better targets.
