Seems like rk picking up some younger players to add to lookman, Davies, Schneiderlin etc.

Maybe looking to move on/ retire players like Barry, Williams, even jags.

I hope that we do have a big squad, one big enough to compete in every trophy and one that can propel us into the top 4. There needs to be experience though but who? Has the Rooney 'come home' malarkey been put to bed now Ed? I loved him hated, him and have warmed to him again and even as a romantic Evertonian that I am - I don't wis to see him back at Everton.
Dolberg is a must for me - I guess we need to see who is out though.

I agree nog. Break the bank for dolberg and sandro/ willian jose.
I like the other Ajax kid, Klassen too but think he'll go to a top top club.

Dolberg won't be on the move this year unfortunately gents. I have been following the lad since last season, as I watch Ajax as much as I can. Shouted him up as a Rom replacement last summer time.

Dolberg has stated that he wants to play as much football as possible and will not move to a big club and jeopardise his chances of playing.

Furthermore to that, he has come out and said that he will be staying at Ajax as he wants to keep improving and scoring goals, he feels there is no better place to do that than at Ajax.

Thanks jmw. Gutted though. We could both benefit if he was to use us as a stepping stone to the top. Suppose we hoping rk Dutch ideals and contacts may have made this work.

I know mate, for me he looks a top player, has a little bit of everything.

Finishing, strength, pace, technical ability, hold up/ link up play. The lot.

Hopefully Koeman thinks enough of him to go after him. We all know Ajax don't turn down good money for their players as they know they have another 2/ 3 coming through from each age group haha.

I would go for Dolberg, if Lukaku is an Everton player come August, I will dig out a Morris dancing outfit whilst juggling 5 tennis balls playing the flute at the same time, he's going just a question of how much and when.

Ed, what's the cause of the contract hold up of Barkley? Is he angling for a move away for CL or is it simply money?

As great as he's been this season at times, realistically i don't think he gets into any of the sides above us.

Cheers ed, I assumed as much. Barkley doesn't seem the brightest spark so not surprised he's being badly advised. Am I right in thinking his agent is the same as Odemwingie's when he was advised to travel to QPR and wait for a transfer to go through, which never did?

{Ed025's Note - his agent is a faceless management company tron made up of individuals who are bleeding the sport dry, and agents like mino raiola who made over £40m from the pogba deal are taking the money out of the game and lining their own pockets at the expense of the smaller clubs who will eventually go out of business...it makes my blood boil mate..

Unfortunately ed. Until the fa's and the clubs stand up to these greedy agents and players, I can only see it getting worse.

Completely agree ed. Wasn't hahave a go at Jimmy. No one would know how it would escalate after sky money came in. Wages and transfer fees now resemble telephone numbers.
