i've heard from my mate's dad yesterday (who is good mate's with Alan Stubbs) that after Stubbs, Big Dunc and Rooney the match, they all went into the lockeroom and congratulated the Blues' on their victory, Moyes then asked Rooney, the question that might be in people's heads, will you ever return to play for us. And apparently he said YES! with a smile on his face, but also metnioned that if it were to come true, for first he'd see out the rest of his contract at United, and wait until Everton had the financial backing of a new chairman.
Whether this is true or not I don't know, like i said i got told from my mate.

Who says we want him back?

Rooney is a class act i know he left us when he did, but i would have him back tomorrow. Lets not forget that it is he who has kept Man Utd's title dream alive this season and also been the reason why they have beeen successful over the years he has been there. Not fogetting that his son is being brought up an evertonian. COYB.

He was a teenage boy who i would not believe at the time of his transfer didnt want to leave everton, not saying he would still be here now but back in 2004 the boy didnt want out.it was pushed by his father, agent, evertons bank manager and those greedy self righteous arrogant lot up at old trafford.think about it.it broke all our hearts i know but accusing wayne of walking away i reckon is wrong.

If we had the dough Rooney would come back tomorrow and I would welcome him with open arms. Football fans are fickle fxckers and I am no different. I was calling Peanut a greedy little twxt a few months ago but now I would happilly kiss his arse. Rooney will end his career with the blues. Oh and nearly forgot, Wembley here we come!!!COYFB!!! I have heard a rumour about Rooney as well, couple posted on forum sites, that Rooney might run down his contract, which expires in 2015, and join us. Still would be 29, personally, I dont see it, but one can hope.

Sulejmani is a quick, tricky, strong winger that can play on both wings. He has a good cross and his finishing is sublime, although we definately will not be able to buy him

To the guy who wrote the 1st comment: if his mate didn't watch the game then he wouldn't of seen him would he? you tool!

I was listening to BBC radio on Thursday when they were talking about Rangers going into administration. Amongst all the anger and frustration there was, though, some optimism as appartently there are up to seven different parties interested in buying the club. On the same programme, they had a partner from the law firm, Pinsent Masons (offices in UK & Asia) and this guy was saying that there is great interest at the moment amongst his clients for buying english football clubs - he claimed to have eight clients actively looking. So, the big question is, are any of them talking to Everton?
On this site a few months ago, I posted that I had been told, from a very good source, that both Randy Lerner and the Abu Dhabi people spoke with Everton before buying Aston Villa and Man City respectively, but they were put off by the asking price!
It seems there are buyers out there if Bill and Co really are prepared to sell at a reasonable price.

Very high, he is intent on joining us and is out of contract. He has already claimed that the contract was already all sorted (so we can afford his wages) and Moyes loves everything in him...
1) Versatility
2) Passion to join club
3) Cheap wages!
