Negredo has scored 4 so far tonight in sevillas biggest game this season so I'd say that might put him out of our reach unfortunately.

Gutted this guys quality its a shame we've not got money 2 spend on players like this
Agree0

He was never in your reach mate. How many times. You need real money to but players, not monopoly money.
Agree0
Disagree0
Ah I didn't realise that mate, cheers for those words of wisdom.
ToffeeTom
Agree0

We would have enough money given the TV money, and the fact that Spain is skint, of course we could always use Fellaini money if he is sold.
I wouldn't necessarily say he is out of reach, Negredo has made it known that he wants to play in England some day and said he might have to leave given the financial state of the club. I don't think the likes of United, Chelsea, City would want him. Wenger typically doesn't sign someone of his age (might change). Spurs would probably be our biggest rival, but they might decide to chase Damaio again. Then it comes to us.
Of course, with Moyes gone, who knows what is going to happen, we need a manager first before we even consider transfer targets. -
Agree0
Disagree0
We have no chance, the board won't stump up 15-20mil on a player with no re sale value, were probably still paying installments for players signed years ago, this isn't being negative just realistic

It's Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, he's not looking to buy a big club he's looking to make a project similar to the one at Watford, where he will develop Napoli youngsters at the feeder club.

Believable13
Unbelievable7
Trust me we do not want him as owner, believe me.
Agree0
Disagree0
His transfer funds would be good, but his personality and management is appalling, he would make a mess of the club
Agree0
Disagree0
No way - he wants a "feeder" club, probably in the Championship, like the Udinese owner has with Watford.
Agree0
Disagree0
Isn't Italy in financial meltdown? Sounds like a really dodgy suggestion to me.

01 Jun 2013 21:47:18
Apparently only worth (only lol) 152 million so forget this one
Degsy
Agree0
Disagree0
No it isn't us, the Napoli chairman wants to buy a 'feeder club' in one of the lower English leagues (Championship or lower?) similar to the Udinese regime, where they own Granada & Watford. Stop trying to jump on every single possibility.
Agree0

Only worth 152 mill, wish I was only worth that

Unbelievable8
Wouldn't he be in London if he was meeting Kenwright?
Agree0

Is this one guy that keeps on posting about Bielsa?
It is obviously BS and can't be true because he is still in charge of Bilbao who are playing today (in a hour or so) against Rayo Vallecano {Ed025's Note - yes it was...i emphasize was..

Who was it that saw him, Stevie Wonder!

It took him several attempts to get his name right, so he's learned something I suppose.

Bielsa has gone down to 25/1 with one high street bookie. Bookie phoned his head office for me and said everyone is onto it. Probably BS but they were the words of the bloke in the bookies. (Wavertree Blue)

Cost us the league cup at leeds too, 1 good game doesn't make up for a few poor games, remember wigan in the quarters, didn't even move for 2 of the goals
Agree0

Think he was to blame in that League cup match but its tough being a reserve keeper. against City he was immense and good luck to him

Martinez off to s***y? Neville off to Brighton?. Leaves Rang, VP and the mystery man
Believable6
Unbelievable11
Not going to lie, sounds good to me. Although I would be content with Martinez as Everton's manager (and I expect him to be manager come Monday). I would be extremely happy with Rangnick, who is on the next level to Martinez in my opinion. As for Pereira, would be a similar gamble to Martinez to me.

BILIC - Meeting Monday with Spartak, expect him to fly to Liverpool soon after. Everton HAVE an interest, not sure if Kenwright is prepared to wait mind but they've certainly let him know of the interest.

Biblical has been wanting to come to Everton for years, he even mentioned of his admiration for the club during the last euros and admitted he would like to come in the near future. not sure that he will come though as he's only been in Russia for one or two seasons, same thing with Laudrup at Swansea so don't know why people are still on about him coming in because of a bust up with the back room staff at Swansea. hope I'm wrong though, they are great managers with great passion for the game and to take the club to the next stage. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Why would Bilic have a meeting with Spartak? He manages Lokomotiv.

Champions league. not if we get martinez. 10th at best with him. vp for me, and champions league will be ours. I just don't get why anyone seems to think martinez is any good. briski {Ed025's Note - in some poll,s hes getting 65% of the vote briski...obviously some do!..
Agree0
Disagree0
I don't understand why people are in full support of Pereira and against Martinez.
They are both as big of a gamble as each other, Martinez had total control of Wigan but got them relegated (but won the cup). Pereira has no experience in England, a pretty poor pre-Porto CV, doesn't have full control at Porto (not even in charge of transfers) and according to Porto fans a poor record in Europe, however, he does boast an impressive league record with Porto having only lost 1 game.
From that, surely they would both be risks, for me, Rangnick represents a much less risk than those two, and gets my vote (if he is over his health issues)
Agree0
Disagree0
I think if we shift felliani back to partner Gibson an AM and ST are the only first 11 players we need but are squad needs some bulking out

I agree with you, just posting a 'rumour'. I hope he doesn't come, don't think he can get a balanced team, as proven with Wigan decent at going forward but shxt defensively. If, however, he does come I'll support him, as we all will. (Wavertree Blue)

This season wigan had a lot of injuries in defence, without the injuries they would of stayed up

Did bilic have an interview or solksjar?
On another pony I hear Neville is being considered for Brighton! I think if Stubbs, Weir, or big Dunc should consider at least 2 seasons in a lower league as a no. 1 before making the jump to the premier!
Who ever we get as a manager let's back him.
I also think we should put a cheeky 2 mil bid with big vic for Suarez!
Eric Dysfuntional {Ed025's Note - as far as i am aware, bilic and solksjar are not in the frame dys..

If we get a £20M budget that's 10M off Bill from new money and 10M raised for sales. Heitinga - 4-5m, Gueye 2-3m. Money freed up from Neville, Moyes and Hitzlsperger's contracts.
I really think we should get Yohan Cabaye i'm sure he'll want to join a team pushing for CL rather than go for a relegation battle.
Believable5

The same Cabaye who thought it was okay to push a ball boy at Goodison? No thanks

So if messi pushed a ball boy you wouldn't have him? get real mate you have to put things aside in football if somebody can help a team to progress why say no?
