{Ed025's Note - we may be looking BA, but miles away from signing mate..

Reports in Italy today say our representatives have met with Samuel Eto's people and have made him an offer.
I don't know how to true it is but he's a proven goal scorer at the highest level. If we took him on for a year on 30-40k a week it wouldn't be a bad bit of buisness.
I'd welcome the goals but not too sure bout his attitude, even at his age seems a bit of a hot head. Thoughts Ed?

{Ed002's Note - He is 40 now and it will cost £10M or thereabouts for a year. Seems unlikely to me.}
No no no no and NO! We need a striker who is going to be with us for the foreseeable future not another stop gap. No loans or older ex superstars. A young or youngish dynamic player. If it costs us 20 million then so be it you only get what you pay for. All these rumours linking us with championship players has beens and loan players worry me sick. I know most are more than likely lazy journalism but there is no smoke without fire in some instances. The way things are looking and the rumblings coming from the media and grapevine I'll be astounded if we have a net spend of more than 20 million,

He's on around £200k+ a year. Somehow, I doubt he'll take a £150k pay drop to play for us.

Ed - what's with the he is 40 remarks? Are you joking or do you truly believe he is 40?

{Ed002's Note - He claims to be younger than he is.}
Really? He's genuinely 40 and lying about being younger?

{Ed002's Note - Maybe older.}

Hi there am in Spain at the mo an was chatting with the Spanish last night they seem to think everton will take o.torres on loan from athletio as they seen how well del done last yr aslo they think Robles will being going to them, if so I think we should go for Forster I think he be a great keeper soon what your thought blues?

Oliver Torres is very good, but far too lightweight for the Prem at his stage in development (not good enough to compensate for it, yet). Wouldn't be ideal for either team. Getting rid of Joel would be, though.

Latest rumours: Bruma, a winger playing in Turkey, linked to a loan move. Brahimi, Algerian midfielder playing in Spain, linked to a 12m move. Know anything about these 2 Ed?
Would Bobby fancy taking Fellani back on loan?

Hi Guys
The player I have put money on to sign is Callum mcmanaman :)
Martinez loves his attitude and his ability.
He will also give Duffy a shot this season due to his age he feel he is now mature enough and can progress. Alcaraz disappointed him last season he bought his captain with him from Wigan and he's been rubbish.
One last thing I've heard is Everton have 40 million to spend over the 2 Windows with out sales.
Kenwright is giving is all to Martinez who he believes can take Everton to the next level.

We need a striker not another championship player

If Bobby wanted Callum M he would have gone in for him last summer. He wasn't even regularly making the Wigan team last year - think we should be setting our sights a little higher.
Kenwright will definitely make as much money as he can available - transfer fees will depend largely on the wages of loan players too.

Callum M was released by Everton a few years ago. So why would we consider him now? Especially when he struggles to get into a weaker Wigan team. We need to be ambitious ago for gold

Does anyone think Everton will really spend £40 million on transfers. I'd bloody love to be wrong, but. i'm not. lucky to have 10 million.
Please let me be wrong. please please please.

You're right, Callum Mcmanaman does have the right attitude. For a UFC fighter. The lad clearly has no regard for his fellow professional.
