Here's a little conspiracy theory for you. Team play great last season with everyone pulling together. Then RM brings in an ageing striker and plonks 100K a week in his hand. Wonder if that peeved the players a little, because I doubt they were getting that. And is that now reflecting in their performance. So if he goes maybe we will have a happier ship again? Who knows.

Hes in 40k a week and is dropping to 28k to play for Sampdoria

Not that I have a clue about what any of the players are on or anything but 100k is a huge amount. Can't see us paying that much for a player who was never going to be a first choice as we paid so much for rom.

Don't know how much he earns but I do think he has rocked the boat. I think I read somewhere when he signed, that he had a bit of an attitude and it does seem strange that the club are letting him go only 5 months into a contract. Fishy!!
