£15 million being offered for Tim I am reading this morning.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jan 2026 14:11:06
Who off GB?

25 Jan 2026 14:43:48
Lazio mate.

25 Jan 2026 17:51:58
We are supposed to be interested in Gabriel Sara a winger who plays for Galatasary.

26 Jan 2026 07:42:12
I would keep Tim, he will only get better, unless they have someone much better lined up.

24 Jan 2026 23:29:07
I can't remember who it is who shouted up Raskin from Rangers on here. Possibly Dentie? Do you know much about Sebastian Tounekti at Celtic by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jan 2026 02:00:54
I like Raskin but I've seen a lot of posters on here throw his name about. I've never heard of the Celtic player. Oh and get on YouTube and watch out U21's against RB Leipzig. We won 5-1 but check out Braiden Graham's goals and contributions. The kids has got some finishing skills and with both feet.

25 Jan 2026 06:25:12
Think it might have been Toffee Loyalist, he certainly knows his onions when it comes to Rangers players anyway mate.

25 Jan 2026 10:52:52
Raskin is a great player would love to see him in everton blue he will be sold in the summer I reckon and will end up in the premier league villa are sniffing hope we get him 15 mil is a steal for a Belgium international. I've never heard of the celtic player tounekti.

25 Jan 2026 12:03:10
Cheers Dentie, BP and Toffeeloyalist!

Dentie, Graham looks very sharp whenever I have seen him. Lad needs to get some decent meals in him and grow a little bit but certainly looks a clever player with ability.

Would Villa be getting him as McGinn mark II Toffeeloyalist? Heard he has a great range of passing but I have never seen him play. Went and watched Rangers v PSV a couple of seasons back but I think he was out injured.

25 Jan 2026 15:56:41
Don't rate raskin one bit not good enough for the premier league.

25 Jan 2026 23:27:07
Any time BlueNose. Also keep an eye out for Boayke ( quick, tricky, direct RW) , Shea Pita ( another pacey, direct winger) . I see some good U21 players playing and TBF they're doing well in this continental cup comp they are in.

But in the U18S there's a few 15yr olds and I think 1 14yr old playing for them. 1 15yr old has already played couple games for the U21'S too.

24 Jan 2026 15:35:57
Whatever happened to the link to that Sheff Utd player? Was it Hamer? Thought he was highly rated.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2026 16:43:36
Good player but not in a position we need strengthening, especially with Dewsbury-hall, Ndiaye, and Alcaraz returning, Armstrong as well if stays in first team now.

24 Jan 2026 18:28:46
Hes been struggling in. The United side and looks abit over weight this season, not a regular starter he did look really good but not so much now.

23 Jan 2026 23:38:33
Day 23 at Finch Farm. A white XR2 pulls up and little Jimmy Garner steps out with his pack of crayons. He comes out smiling with a Cornetto. Still raining.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Jan 2026 18:11:21
Jimmy has signed a 4 1/2 year deal.

{Ed025's Note - great news Dev..

Agree4 Disagree0

23 Jan 2026 19:24:26
Credit where it’s due to the club. Our young talent are extending their stay which secures the club financially if not on the field. Branthwaite and Garner are two class players with great market value. And we’ve got them both for years to come, or a kings ransom if they have to leave. Well done EFC.

23 Jan 2026 19:27:13
Great news important player for us, important deal that well chuffed.

23 Jan 2026 19:53:07
Brilliant news, in particular with both Branthwaite (if stays fit) and Garner both potential England internationals, and Pickford England goalkeeper still for a few years yet, may help attract players to the club in future.

23 Jan 2026 19:57:49
Well that's our only January signing done then lol.

23 Jan 2026 20:27:12
No chance dentielad, a couple will come in.

23 Jan 2026 23:20:20
So pleased, he’s done so well, must have been other teams sniffing about.

{Ed025's Note - yeah a fine bit of business JB..

24 Jan 2026 01:12:53
I hope so GuernseyBlue.

24 Jan 2026 02:18:05
You previously said 2-3 now it's a couple GB? Be specific mate, we rely on you,
Mike.

24 Jan 2026 12:02:40
A couple is 2 isn't it? So not really changed from what he said originally (2-3) . Seems pretty specific to me and just a poor effort from you at having a pop!

24 Jan 2026 20:15:33
It was a joke between friends, I wasn't having a pop. You need to lighten up.

23 Jan 2026 14:34:32
Reading Betos agent has arrived in Turkey, is he going at last.

{Ed025's Note - hopefully GB..

Agree3 Disagree0

23 Jan 2026 14:55:27
If he is GB, that means we will get absolutely f all for him. Probably a loan, which I am not sure helps us in anyway mate.

Need to shift him back to Italy where someone will pay £15m for him and cut our losses.

23 Jan 2026 15:09:24
Says they have made a bid but not how much or a just a loan mate.

23 Jan 2026 16:06:34
Whatever we can get is worth taking, it’ll clear his wages too, and make way for another striker.

{Ed025's Note - im with you JB..

23 Jan 2026 16:38:29
True it’s not worked for all parties best to move on.

23 Jan 2026 16:45:16
Get what you are saying JB but he is nowhere near one of our bigger earners. Think he is on 60k a week. What is to say we can get a replacement in. No point swapping him out for someone else who is sh**e.

Unless we get a fee, may as well wait for other suitors in summer imo.

23 Jan 2026 23:43:51
He’s probably just on holiday.

{Ed025's Note - maybe getting a hair transplant or Turkey teeth BR?.. :)

22 Jan 2026 18:36:06
So what I’ve heard is KDH is back training with the first team, Gana, and Ndyai are back, Branthwaite is also back, Seamus was on the bench last week so there are 5 players to improve the team instantly, a striker may come in on loan and finances will be saved for a summer big spend.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Jan 2026 19:23:56
Sounds good mate.

22 Jan 2026 20:21:06
It is pretty obscene, the fact that we have had to play PL matches without 40% of our starting outfield players for a quarters worth of games that have been played this season. All season in JB's respect. Nothing short of a miracle that we are positioned so well in the table and only 4 pts off CL.

22 Jan 2026 20:28:18
We definitely punched above our weight in those matches BN, the Villa game speaks volumes mate.

22 Jan 2026 20:40:54
Just a shame we were so bad against Wolves, Burnley, Brentford, Newcastle and spurs in the league.

Not to mention the horrendous cup games.

22 Jan 2026 22:06:16
Not to mention West Ham and Villa at home GD.

22 Jan 2026 22:08:24
I've mentioned it before, gd, but I think that has a bit to do with settling into our new home. By and large, we have seen a massive improvement on seasons gone by. When you look at the stat BN has posted above, it shows we are in a better place than we have been for a while.

I'm certain that the home form will improve and we can get back to the top end of the table on a regular basis. there's more to be pleased with than to be annoyed with in my opinion mate.

23 Jan 2026 13:22:07
Maybe.

I think we should be cautious about saying that good times are just around the corner. Whilst the OP is completely right about the importance of the returning players, there's nothing to say that they will remain available for the rest of the season (in fact, we know they won't - that's just football) .

We have a very small squad with obvious fragility at positions such as RB - as others have pointed out on this page, having an actual special-ist play there has dramatically changed both our defence and our attack - but it would be foolhardy to bank on either Patterson or Coleman staying fit (that's not a dig, just response to their recent injury records) .

Various reports have indicated that the Beto/Fenerbahçe link is progressing. Whilst this might be nonsense, we'd be very short if he did leave without anyone else coming, and there's no signs at the moment that they will.

I completely agree that we shouldn't panic buy, but I'm also wary of the club allowing a sort 'jam-tomorrow' mentality spread (lol . I need to get out the house) amongst the fans, as I can't think of many big organisations that ever come good on these promises.

22 Jan 2026 16:48:49
Reading that Kalvin Philips is back on our radar £15 million quoted.

{Ed025's Note - my god i hope not GB..

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Jan 2026 17:03:53
What an absolute waste of 14 and a half million.

22 Jan 2026 17:08:15
No way they’d ask us to pay £15 million.

22 Jan 2026 17:50:58
Unbelievable!
Got to be journo rubbish, surely.

22 Jan 2026 19:24:25
Paper rubbish I reckon mate.

22 Jan 2026 19:47:54
If this materialises, I will chain myself to the gates at FF so he can’t get in!

{Ed025's Note - save me a speck Bobby..

22 Jan 2026 20:29:13
Maguire being linked in another rag mate, doesn’t stop.

22 Jan 2026 20:50:22
Have we read it wrong and we are being offered Philips and £15 million? Only logical thinking to striking a deal.

21 Jan 2026 16:42:07
Alan Myers was on ssn earlier today basically saying that it doesn't look like any business will be done this window. He mentioned that a forward would be the position that we would strengthen if opportunities popped up but he doesn't expect any additions to the right back position this month. With Jared on the way back to full fitness, he believes the club have enough options to cover full back. Patterson is fit again (for how long? ) and Seamus on his way back, the club will probably get to the end of the season with what we have defensively.

Not good news that really. A specialised full back on the right is what we need asap, and that's without the opposite flank to push VM on. Don't get me started on the forwards! Barry has stepped his game up a bit in recent weeks but is he good enough to be leading the line? I think he could become a good player given time but we don't have much of that really. Beto needs selling as he is absolute garbage, probably the worst striker I have ever witnessed in an Everton shirt. At the very least, we need back up up top.

{Ed025's Note - make do and mend it looks like BP, at one point it looked like we would be signing about 42 new players mate..we had more links than the Titnanic,s anchor, but thats nothing new for us i suppose..

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Jan 2026 17:06:24
It might be all part of the negotiations letting teams know we are happy. Keep the faith.

21 Jan 2026 18:18:56
Too true, ed25. The amount of names linked to us every window is crazy, if we'd have signed half of those then we could field at least three teams every week!

I'm hoping that we aren't just making do because Patterson and Barry have had a couple of decent games, we need to improve on both of them to help strengthen the squad mate.

{Ed025's Note - i must admit i was hoping to bring in at least a couple of players BP, certainly a striker and maybe a right back were needed if we plan to compete for a European spot, i know its not a great time to buy but other clubs seem to have found the odd gem mate, but this club has found a way to underwhelm me on many occasions..

21 Jan 2026 18:23:19
Probably miss out on europe now, we are bound to get a few injuries once the window closes. We are already using 2gk as subs don't think we have 3.

21 Jan 2026 19:00:53
If we do anything it will be on the last minute of the window, pretty normal for us! Surprised that we haven't identified anyone from the lower leagues worth pursuing at this time. I guess you could ask the question "do we have any scouts? "

{Ed025's Note - we do have scouts Mike, its just that they are not worth an Earl Barrett mate.. :)

21 Jan 2026 19:42:36
Smokescreen folks two or three will come in, just wait and see.

21 Jan 2026 19:53:47
Difficult window to do business in as any decent player we go in for are likely to be a premium price as unlikely teams will want to sell decent players mid season.

Players that are available for purchase will either be very expensive, injury plagued or nearing end of contract.

We may be able to get a loan in for fringe players wanting to try and get more minutes in a World Cup year.

Whilst agree we need reinforcements if they don’t happen won’t be overly bothered.

Looks like we’re safe this season.

Whilst could get European spot it’ll be difficult and squad will need massive investment to get to a level to be able to compete if we do so may be worth saving money for a summer spend when players available and for better prices.

The only issue with summer will be the World Cup will probably affect recruitment.

Personally would like to see some of the highly touted youngsters given a chance to integrate into squad so we can see if ready to step up next season, but not holding out much hope of that with Moyes.

21 Jan 2026 22:40:54
I’m sure there are worse strikers than Beto that have played for us…
Rondon
Maupay
Tuson
Sandro

Going further back…
Madar
Jo
Angel
Max Moore
Barlow

I’m sure there are plenty more.

Criminal we’ve not sorted a right back (again) . I hope Barry comes good as we desperately need someone who can find the net.

22 Jan 2026 00:01:24
So some one thinks we're still going to get two or three in, but if so, we'll get the dregs that know body else was interested in . Long contracts, stupid salary's, enough to endure that when they turn out to be crap, we can't get rid, know one eles will touch them. "GREAT Recruitment TEAM.

22 Jan 2026 09:36:23
I wonder if the recent decent form of Patterson has led to us holding off until the summer where our options and budget would be greater?

22 Jan 2026 10:37:49
Some of the replies baffle me.

22 Jan 2026 18:36:42
Can’t see us in for any full backs, central defenders or midfielders, just got a feeling we could sign a proven striker! Which would be extremely welcomed,

21 Jan 2026 13:54:03
I don't know if this has legs, but hear that Everton have offered McNeil and cash to Fulham for Wilson, givern the situation with Jack Grealish, it does seem to make sense.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jan 2026 14:40:42
Well offering McNeil certainly makes sense.

21 Jan 2026 16:07:20
They may say yeah we'll take the cash, keep McNeil.

21 Jan 2026 16:13:15
Surely including McNeil in the deal just puts the asking price up!

Think Wilson would be a very good addition but can’t see Fulham selling him this window when he’s one of their best players and are in a similar position in the league as us and have an outside chance at a European place.

21 Jan 2026 18:52:30
Does he share the same Tete advisors?

21 Jan 2026 20:36:51
Why offer McNeil into deal. We want to tempt clubs to sell their players, not frighten them off.

20 Jan 2026 19:58:54
Now reading Jack has a suspected stress fracture of the foot and could be out for months.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jan 2026 20:24:31
Big call to be made by the club if it's a stress fracture i. e. could we/do we send him back to city etc.

20 Jan 2026 20:37:58
Send him back if he’s out for months, save on the wages. Then maybe try and negotiate a better deal than the 50m option in the summer.

20 Jan 2026 22:31:32
We may not be able to send him back. Depends on terms of the loan. Would city take him back and pay his full wage while he's injured when they can refuse and keep make us pay whatever wages we are paying him.

21 Jan 2026 09:48:47
Would go out and try and get Macatee on loan as a replacement got to be better than Dwight.

21 Jan 2026 13:04:17
You won't get that past City's lawyers ?.

21 Jan 2026 16:09:21
Prem can't get charges past them.

21 Jan 2026 16:15:44
Mcatee? He’s been very poor at Forest. He’s also primarily a right winger whereas Jack has been played on the left.

21 Jan 2026 17:08:14
Ndiaye can go on lw like last season.

21 Jan 2026 17:32:27
Bit harsh to judge a player who hasn't even played 2 games worth of football. 167 minutes on the pitch this season.
