RM is saying Howard will replace Robles as soon as he is fit, IMHO I think the defence is playing with far more confidence, 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games, Howard 3 clean sheets in 18 games, is this a coincidence, or are the back 4 more comfortable with Robles behind them, at least he is'nt rooted to his goal line. I would like to see him keep his place in the team.

I was a harsh critic of Joel before this latest stint in goal, he had hands like crisp packets. However he's played well the last few games and should keep his place, what kind of message does it send out, play well but as soon as my favourites are back I'll shove you back on the bench, the team should not be default, Howard needs to win his place back in the team.

If howard comes straight back in to the team after being utter DREADFUL all season then that's joels' confidence gone, no wonder he looked shaky, he can't be a regular no matter what he does! let's hope howard has a set back in training or an argument with martinez or sends nudes to eto'. Joel shoud be our first choice from now on and if howard doesn't like it, go
{Ed025's Note - lets not hope a player of ours gets an injury swan...thats poor mate, but i agree that joel deserves to stay as our starting keeper as he has done little wrong, but it would not surprise me if the fraud dropped him..

Hey I didn't mean a leg break, just another 2 weeks off with the injury he already has just so joel can get more time on the pitch, same for mcgeady actually too.
Swan wasnt u callen for joels head when he first got in the team after he dropped a few crossers. don't quoat me on sayin it was u I may be wrong. All along when people were sayin he is crap I av always said that for a keeper he is still a baby an needs a crack at the whipan he will come good but I have backed him from day onep

I was one of the many who had a go, wouldn't say I was calling for his head but he is changing my mind, he's done well and long may it continue.
