Chris Wood would have been a great stop gap purchase. Can't believe at the price he went for we didn't indulge for a season or two.

2 thumbs down svenny but wondered myself if he was worth the punt. Big and strong. Could of been a stop gap as you put it. For me, I'd like us to keep an eye on the big atalanta striker Petagna. Damaged us so worth keeping an eye on him to see if he consistently a brute to defenders.

Using "he damaged us" as a yardstick is maybe not the best way to measure a player. My nan would damage our defense right now. She's available on a free if we are still short of options to play upfront.
