Koeman believes he has total support of the board but he doesn't have total support from the majority of the fans.
Us as fans are not stupid and we k ow we can't win every game but we are losing without an identity, without a plan and with a very stubborn manager who is not prepared to play the best players regardless of personal differences.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know what he expects geoff, does he expect supporters to be happy watching disjointed abject performances every week?, evertonians are by nature very passionate and considering our recent past we have stayed loyal even through barren times, we dont ask for much just total commitment from our players and manager and pride in the shirt, we have not been getting this lately and for me that is totally koemans fault, i have to say the sooner he is gone the better mate..

How do you know he doesn't have support from the majority of the fans? Ed0025 I thought you where one of the RK needs a couple of season to get it right and will need time to gel his players brigade. Looks like in a couple of weeks of very negative comments on this site and some pretty poor performances you have changed you usual positive approach? RK is a straight talker but I have not heard him say that the performances have been great at any stage so its not like he's doing a bobby brown shoes on us. I think given time our form will improve and we will climb the table, I still think we will finish top 8 possibly top 6.

{Ed025's Note - i was prepared to give him time sa and as you say i told you all it would take time which it will, but what im not prepared to do is let the situation put us in a position where the clubs future is at stake, its not as if there is even the remotest sign of any improvement in fact we are regressing, if we do get involved in a relegation struggle i dont feel we have the personnel to get out of it, with the new stadium on the horizon its crucial that we maintain our status in the top division and at the moment your forecast of 6th or 8th seems a pipe dream, the players dont seem to be playing for the manager which is a major worry and its not as if we can point to one positive thing that we can bring us any hope, i know it can be seen as a bit of a knee jerk reaction from me mate but ex-players and pundits seem to be singing off the same hymn sheet, it cannot be allowed to continue unless he turns things around very quickly, i would be more than happy if we start to improve and picking up points for him to continue but nobody is bigger than this club and if that means sacking the manager then so be it, it is out of concern and the love of this club that i have changed my mind...not out of some sort of will to placate the koeman out brigade..

RK did make out that we were the better team in two games that I can recall, although I would disagree with his assessment. He was happy with the performance, but not the scoreline, versus Burnley and he thinks there was more aggression etc against Brighton. I witnessed two dour games from a fan perspective in all honesty. One thing he shares with Martinez is stubbornness. We've had a tough start to this campaign, no doubting that, but confidence has certainly been dented. If we don't get much out of the next few games then something has to change for the reasons that ed25 has mentioned. The table is not great viewing at the minute but we are still only a few points behind those in the top half so all is not lost, we just need to get on a decent run sometime soon.

The worry is ed025 RK does not seem to know his best line up, players look as if they do not understand where they should be playing and what tactics they should employ.
He doesn't fill me with any confidence that he can arrest this slide we are on.
The longer it carry's on the harder it will be, it is also very difficult to bring in at this time or even in 2 months a long term replacement.
If he can manage to steady the ship he may be given until January to bring in a striker and maybe a couple of others, failing that we may have to look to someone like Allardyce who would not be long term but has the skillset to rescue clubs in danger of relegation, which is where we are heading!

{Ed002's Note - It is not the job of RK but SW to bring a striker in.}

Cheers for the response Ed I was just wondering why the change of heart in such a short time. I have been looking at a more long term approach, as for pundits well there is a reason they are pundits and not managers and in my opinion their remarks although may seem valid at the time they don't usually look at the picture as a whole just pick bits to suit there arguments. I think bluepotao sums it up we are only two wins from 4th place so a good run of form and we will climb the table. COYB.

{Ed025's Note - a lot of is born out of frustration sa, i was expecting a hell of a lot better even at this early stage to be honest and when i see players lacking heart and togetherness i feel the manager is culpable mate, as i said i would love him to turn things around even a small amount and i will get behind him, but at the moment im lacking belief just like the players it seems..
