Joel should be given a chance - stats show he has a decent enough record to warrant a starting place.

Pickfords record is played 43 clean sheets 5 conceded 80
As it stands we have the equal worst defensive record this year in the premiership and we cannot afford basic school boy errors from the GK. you can blame the defence and midfield all you like but the GK has to take some of the blame - todays game was a perfect example
Thank god for Niasse - not the most gifted but a dam hard worker - well done.

He's been cut a lot of slack because of his age and bad defending but he keeps making costly mistakes, palming it out in the danger zone. I agree Robles should get a few games its only fair.
