Just seen team. Would rather have seen Davies at full back than Martina. So looks like we're playing with 10 men again. This also means Gylfi spending more time defending than attacking.

Schneiderlin must be fkin amazing in training to get picked, because he's been awful every time he's been on the pitch this season.
Would much rather put Rooney CM instead of Morgan and then add Vlasic or Lookman.
Not a very attacking team at all but let's just wait and see I suppose.

As I said for Martina so the same goes for Schneiderlin they must have simply amazing agents and quite simply in the right place at the right time. However let's analyze Sams choices. Davis was like a little boy lost against Liverpool, while Martina was his usual statue, so who do we replace Davis with? Sam sees no choice but Schneiderlin, Garbutt at LB apparantly is not registered so Sam again sees no choice.

For Gods sake. Can we not get off this guys back?! He's been part of a defense that has only cenceeded 1 goal in 5 games. Plus he's been busier than the rest of the defense put together.
We're winning so let's stay positive shall we. Even for a couple of weeks.

Teams target him and we have still only condeded once, think the slagging of him is unfair. He’s not great by any means but if he’s the so called worst player to ever put on a blue shirt, why aren’t teams walking through him and scoring 4-5 goals every game? .
He did well tonight btw but don’t let that cloud your hate.

BlueJohnUns and Swan its not worth even considering a debate as we have a minority who will find the negative in anything Sam does, just to have a moan and prove they are right for not wanting him to be manager!
Last night again was a well organised display from all who started, including Martina and Williams.
Williams has gone back to the no nonsense defending and is leaving the footballing side of defending to his younger much better partner.
The balance of youth and experience at the back has seen us concede 1 in 4, before that we conceded 9 in 2, so really what is there to moan about? Oh yes sorry it must be Martina's fault.
Why don't we all be positive and consider this, we have taken 10 points out of the last 4 games with only 1 goal conceded and 8 scored, we are 9 points behind the top 4 and have put an 8 point gap between ourselves and the bottom 3, the next 4 games over the busy festive period sees us against both United and Chelsea at home, with Swansea also at home and WBA away, if we can take 10 points from these 4 games, which I believe we can, then come January we will be a much better prospect by being in a much better place in the league to push on and bring in a striker which we need desperately, add to that the return of Bolasie and Seamus to the mix and Baines too and we will see a much more competitive Everton playing better football. I'm happy scraping results playing boring as we have seen already, with the personnel we have we can't try and play attractive tippy tappy from the back ala Man City football because, well simple really, we ain't good enough, YET.
