Remember all those times when Ed02 was being grouchy and rude saying we could only sign Lukaku if Barkley was part of the deal. good times

They will get it back in spades in 5 years though eh Ed002 as his sell on fee is money in the bank
I suppose not easily but it looks like we afforded him after all. I think the club should still have some money left after henen and rom sign later though.
I don't remember you saying it was Barkley OR us paying more than we could afford ed02. You've said all along it was Barkley or nothing. Maybe it is more than we can afford but this is finally everton making a statement to everyone that we've got ambition and we want to move forward and I for one am absoloutley delighted. After years of making do we're no longer happy to make the numbers up. There's no guarantees in football but at last we're having a bloody good go!

Dont forget we had quite a bit left over from the Fellaini, Anichebe, Jelavic deals. We only spent £14M on McCarthy and a bit on loan deals.
That leaves approx £25M if you think about it.
