What a waste of money that's half of Stones money gone on rubbish

If it's true about little pea an Evans they do it as deal for stones

Evans AND Hernandez - signing those smacks of desperation, especially at the prices being touted. If they do happen, then I just hope they prove doubters like me wrong, but I just don't see them being like McCarthy (and, on first impressions, Cleverley) and showing that they are worthwhile additions.

I hope we do get Hernandez he is very good striker as for evans I wouldn't swap him for a mars bar never mind 5 or 6 mil but it does look like we are after him if his dose sign I would support him because I am evertonian and I want what's best for my club and slaughtering him constantly isn't going to help anybody. If they do sign it certainly doesn't mean stone's would be part of any deal it would mean he has 2 of the 3 players Bobby was after a striker and centre back. Which would leave only a number 10 to get

They have ben touting Hernandez for ages and hoped loan spell at real would help get gone, he's still a utd player and no takers, not even WBA!

Hernandez is out for a bout two months with a broken collarbone. No way are we I. For him

He was on the United bench on Saturday and hasn't been injured since?

I just don't get the views of some fans. We have to be the most negative bunch in Europe! When you look at our current squad, we have three, first-class England internationals and Seamus, in our back four (with Garbut and Galloway in reserve). In midfield we have McCarthy, Barkley, Cleverly, Deulofeu and Mirallas, then upfront - Lukaku. This includes five of the best young players in Europe (Stones, McCarthy, Barkley, Deulofeu and Lukaku) and a spine that should see us competing at the top end of the Premier league for the foreseeable future.

Yup. I get the need for investment and it kills me to watch as we lose out on some top talent, but. Shaqiri is a luxury we can't currently afford - and in all honesty; one we don't need. In fact, this applies to most of the transfer rumours we've been linked to this summer. But, as it stands, Everton represent a risk for any player looking for regular (starting 11) first team action. Van Dijk would not (immediately) dislodge our centre-back pairing, if Stones stays - so where's the incentive (this was the same for Ogbonna)??

Who are we going to attract that's 'better' than Mirallas, Deulofeu, Barkley and Lukaku for the number 10 and striking positions? I appreciate that Barkley is more effective playing deeper, and Mirallas appears more comfortable out wide, but both are still adequate options where the no. 10 role is concerned.

We absolutely need a centre forward, to provide some solid competition for Rom. But, whoever comes in will play second fiddle to our current, 28m striker! If you were Charlie Austin, would you risk it? If you have aspirations of playing for your country, you know you need to be playing week-in-week-out!

With the exception of Barry, our starting eleven, when fit, has crazy potential! But as long as the fans continue to boo, we will struggle to perform! Our own fans single handedly killed Barkleys season last year! We need to start getting behind them ASAP. An explosive, attack-minded gameplan is tough to execute if the players are unwilling to take the required risks, through fear of being booed or jeered.

It doesn't matter how much money you make or how much talent you have. fear affects performance, which affects morale, which affects results. Give Martinez a break, support your team and we can start enjoying our football again!

Well said lar. but you can understand why the fans are upset,,they pay a lot of money to follow the blues ,,the board have a lot to do with with all this negativity and if they feel a player (very rich player) isn't puttin his shift in,it's easy to see why the the crowd can turn. I am a armchair supporter and I'm stressed with all this bull. imagine how all the loyal fans who go the game feel (God bless them)

Eswyng, it is not the talent at our disposal that we moan about but the way that talent is misused by an incompetent coach. Roberto takes the proverbial square peg into round hole approach and refuses to accept any other solution, he is the definition of bigot. I watched him squirm last night while being given tactical lessons from Squeaky voice FFS.
