For a senior pro, Gueye’s behaviour was shocking. Not only did he put last night’s game in jeopardy, but he has undermined our chances for the next 3 games before he goes away to Africa.

Apart from his absence, we’ll be missing Branthwaite, Coleman, Patterson and Rohl.

Assuming Ireobugnam replaces Gueye, our subs bench will only have the following senior players - Travers, Aznou, Mc Neill, Alcatraz, Dibbling and Beto. The rest will be another goalkeeper plus some U21s.

All credit to the 10 who won the game last night but Gueye could have a lot to answer for.

Gueye could be missing for up to 10 matches according to reports.

25 Nov 2025 15:20:43
I wouldn't be to bothered i would play Garner and KDH in center mid and charly as number 10.hopefully DM realises we have better players than idrissa in the the squad who don't give the ball away half the time.

Don't get me wrong idrissa has been a great player for us but I don't think we will miss him over the nxt couple of months and he will be a substitute when he comes back from the Afcon.

25 Nov 2025 15:59:11
It’s an ideal time to try which players to replace him ready for next season.

25 Nov 2025 09:26:55
Hi I've not posted for a long time, my son regularly posts, i was glad when we got bolasie, but ekiteke i don't mention as he plays for the squatters across the park, every everton game he predicts we will lose.

he is so negative towards us, we efc are a work in progress and it may take time but we will get to were we want to be. keep the faith UTFT.

The Everton away fans were bouncing last night.

{Ed025's Note - they were great BB...as per usual mate..

They deserved that result. I can go back to the seventies when going to away games was a right of passage. Boys always turned up regardless of how we were playing. Sadly getting to old for all that now, but would love one more Wembley trip. Ok two now they have the bloody semis there.

25 Nov 2025 12:59:35
Always are.

25 Nov 2025 08:47:12
A special word for Barry,14 headers won there’s a player in there and it’s starting to show, I was one of his biggest critics but the lad has done well in the last couple of games, oh and as for Zirkzee no thank you, he’s worse than what we have.

{Ed025's Note - Barry worked his arse off GB and all credit to him, but he still has to offer a lot more to his game to convince me mate..

25 Nov 2025 09:01:30
He did well winning headers and worked hard.

But, still hasn't had a shot on target this season.

25 Nov 2025 09:03:29
Yes he has mate and I still expect us to get a striker in Jan, I reckon Barry will get the nod over Beto in future.

25 Nov 2025 10:28:32
Barry starting to work well with Ndiaye. That can only continue to improve. The lad just needs a goal now. Please can it be this weekend.

25 Nov 2025 10:57:04
Great result and performance last night from the lads. I actually think if we had 11 on the pitch it would have been more comfortable. We were playing really well.

As for Barry he was excellent. He's a good player and you can see he's got all round gameplay. A goal would sort him out but we also need someone who helps the rest of the team and that is something he's doing really well in the last few games.

UTFT COYB NSNO.

25 Nov 2025 09:38:01
Agree Ed. Always ready to commend a player on their application and Barry deserves his praise for his effort last night but that really should be a baseline performance every week with the amount of money that they get paid mate.

{Ed025's Note - i completely agree BN..

25 Nov 2025 01:08:53
Ed 25.great result, but the sending off was nonsense, rules is rules, but has this idiot ever heard of discretion, a word in the players ?, and maybe a yellow card but this ultra clueless referee jumped to a conclusion, without stopping to give the situation a monuments thought.

The consensus of the majority of pundits, all seemed to suggest the decision was way over the top. can the incident be appealed.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think so AB, we will be told its the letter of the law mate and the ref gets his day in the spotlight..

25 Nov 2025 10:29:20
Absolutely no way that gets turned over.

25 Nov 2025 11:12:13
If anyone should be suspended, it's the idiotic ref, for lacking critical judgment, and comon sence.

Gana apology on his Instagram story

"I want to apologise first to my team-mate Michael Keane.

"I take full responsibility for my reaction. I also apologise to my team-mates, the staff, the fans and the club.

"What happened does not reflect who I am or the values I stand for. Emotions can run high, but nothing justifies such behaviour. I'll make sure it never happens again. "

And so he bloody well should. I thought at the time it would cost us dearly because the referee couldn't wait to brandish the red card. Yes I know it's a strike to the face in the letter of the law and in the rules he would have to go off.

Manchester United were awful I think it's fair to say. Even my United supporting mates couldn't believe they didn't capitalise with the extra man advantage. A solid defensive display and Pickford was back to his best. Big shout out to Thierno Barry as well because that's the best I've seen this lad play. He was winning headers all over the place. 14 out of 23 aerial duels won.

Looks like Moyes is ok with it? Good win and it takes us over the reds.

25 Nov 2025 08:44:58
This lad was players player of the season last year. Realistically, we might not see him play again, Moyes will need to find a solution next week and when he’s at AFCON, and he’d have to play his way back into the team in February.

It’s a daft decision, which I’m sure he regrets. At least it shows passion, something the Man U fans would welcome. Sure I’ll get pelters for this but heyho.

25 Nov 2025 10:31:40
All for showing passion but the lad actually lost the plot, and if it wasn’t for Pickford we could have ended up having two sent off.

25 Nov 2025 13:03:23
Spot on BMD.

24 Nov 2025 23:06:44
Everyone was brilliant tonight and I can’t slate anyone except Gana.

As for the red card, it a bit funny isn’t it really? Only team in premier league history to have a player retroactively banned for diving, only team in premier league history to have a player booked for taking a quick free kick too quickly. Then this today when I’ve literally seen worse in other premier league games.

If that was Casemiro and Yoro tonight, is that a red card?

Of course it isn’t.

{Ed025's Note - spot on Swan..

Gueye fing idiot, what did keane do insult your ego, call you a c##t, I have heard and been called worse for messing up on the pitch. White Honkey comes to mind. He didn't call you what I said, he rightly called you out for being a dick head. I hope Moysie has a proper go at you. It's called professional football.

24 Nov 2025 23:23:44
Letter of the law Swan117 mate. The fact ManUtd couldn't capitalize hilarious. Gueye was a pratt simple.

25 Nov 2025 05:59:47
Ref was a few feet away watching it all. Gueye was a fool and lacked self control for which he has apologised. If that turned out a loss it would’ve been a travesty on the travelling fans. As it is though they had a night to remember.

If the team can move on then we can too.

25 Nov 2025 10:35:20
Yep what’s done is done move on now. Though I’ve got to say bit worried that they’re now building a boxing ring at Finch Farm. I mean there’s no way Keane can make the weight.

24 Nov 2025 22:53:26
I see Gary Neville didn’t name a MoM tonight, too hard to pick one from our team? Or unable to give it to a Man U player?

{Ed025's Note - there were 10 of them Big C..

It was a real defensive masterclass. I’m really proud of what I saw tonight.

25 Nov 2025 10:36:09
Pickford showed everyone why he is number one.

Well slap me silly, that was bloody brilliant!

Moyes took a load of flack on here a few weeks back, I’m sure everyone can agree that him, and the whole team did us proud tonight. Superb defensive performance and Pickford World Class again. UTFT.

They really did JB. It was such a decent performance from us tonight because we normally wilt in that situation. I will be the first to admit that when the nonsense happened between Keane and Gana, I thought 'here we go', same old sh*** where things just seem to go against us in the most ridiculous fashion. How many times have we witnessed us crumble in situations like that, so fair play to each and everyone of them tonight.

I know it sounds a bit daft but it may have actually helped us going down to 10 tonight. We can compete with the best defences in the league when we sit in and soak up pressure, as we have been so used to it over the years. Add to that the fact that United are dreadful playing against a low block.

I thought given how things went, Barry was so much better tonight from a physical and work ethic perspective. He won 14 ariel duels tonight, more than any PL player has managed this season. One thing I noticed tonight as well and it might sound weird but he looked like he has learned to run properly again. Watching his Villareal highlights, he looked like he had some decent acceleration and pace to him but showed nothing of the sort in a Blue shirt before tonight. He always looked like he struggled to get going, resembling a baby giraffe at times.

Pickford was top drawer as he is most games these days. We don't get 3 points without him tonight.

Michael Keane was also brilliant. His mentality is something that has been called into question during his time with us (rightly so) and I thought his arse would go after that incident with Gana but he turned in another quality defensive display for us.

The way that Grealish appeals every decision to the ref, not just involving him but his teammates is invaluable to us. It is something that we never do so it is great to see from Grealish, something he has clearly got from being at a top performing club.

Hopefully we can get to January in and around the same position we are in now and then it will be over to TFG to decide whether we gamble and go big on bringing a striker in. Imagine where we would be if we had a goal scorer. We have an embarrassing 1 goal from our strikers this season and yet still, we find ourselves only 3 points off the top 4. You would expect that we would have been able to get those points from the West Ham, Villa or Sunderland games had we had someone who can put the ball in the onion bag.

Worth keeping in mind that historically, Moyes is better after Christmas.

Here's to hoping that we bring the Barcodes back down to earth after their good result against City at the weekend.

24 Nov 2025 22:58:07
Also pleasing to see that, before the red card, we set out to press them and impose ourselves on the game. Long may it continue.
A couple of astute signings in January and who knows ay?
