Just had a read on Toffeweb and the stick Bill Kenwright is getting is bang out of order. People expect him to sell the club for 80 million pounds to any rogue. I hope he has a change of heart though and sacks the phenomenal Roberto, the football has been dreadful this season and can't see it changing much next season with the Catalan in charge.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes why sell the club for 80m (which isn't much is it) when you can sell it for 200m and get it right in his pocket. Yes bill. What an evertonian you are.

{Ed025's Note - hes just another of your hate figures swan..

Hes also a hate figure of a lot of other evertonians ed. but i'm not jumping on the bandwagon, as, to be fair, the support is split down the middle for him. For me as a fan i'd like to see us go places, not the championship which we will be in soon unless there is something done about the stadium. i'm sick of (like most fans of clubs like us are) this inferiority complex and being happy with mediocrity.

{Ed025's Note - i agree about the stadium mate, but we have to be realistic, we cant compete at the highest level im afraid..

I understand that ed but surely trying to sell us for 200m (10x what he paid), piled on with debt, stadium issues and the need to improve the squad is a silly amount to ask for when trying to sell a club. We are at a terrible point though I reckon, we need a new stadium for investment but need investment for a new stadium.

{Ed025's Note - its catch 22 as you say swan, but for me BK is a top bloke who bleeds everton and does not want to sell to any tom dick or harry, if someone is only willing to pay buttons for the club then they will not have the clout to improve it a great deal..

29 May 2015 08:28:46
Lets face it only a billionaire can change our fortunes, £80m to buy the club, then how much more to build a better team £200m then develop the stadium or build a new one? that's the problem he faces, Just £80m and no more leaves us nowhere.

They should redevelop Goodison Park, it can be done. Anfield is getting redeveloped. A decision needs to be addressed soon because I don't think the stadium will pass it's safety test soon it's that bad, look at the roof situation earlier this season.

{Ed025's Note - im afraid it needs knocking down alan, to try to revamp it would be throwing good money after bad as the infrastructure around the ground is not good enough mate..

Damn it's so frustrating, GP needs demolishing but we ain't got the cash for a new stadium. Sorry state of affairs at the moment, thanks for the reply ed have a great weekend.

{Ed025's Note - you too mate..

We all know the stadium is the issue. It's not all doom and gloom over the ground move. We are just being cautious and managing expectations.

As for the amount he is selling the club for. You are just guessing at £200 mil and plucking figures out of thin air. In any case he can sell it for anything he wants. He's invested millions of pounds and thousands of hours into the club. We just go and watch them of a weekend then bitch and moan on here for the rest of the time! What right have we got on how much he asks for.

{Ed025's Note - fair point john..
