Nani is useless and has been for years. We're already carrying far too much dead wood. Last thing we need is another over hyped and overpaid player that will deliver us nothing.

Swan: I wouldn't want Nani either - I've never liked him (his attitude and lack of effort both irk me) and I've therefore never rated him. That's not to say that some people actually working in the football industry might see something positive in him - and nor does it mean that he couldn't do a job for us, but I doubt that very much. Even the most skillful, individually talented, technically gifted players have to apply their skill and work hard for the team - and that's why imho those that do are winners and have plenty of medals for winning trophies.

Nani joined sporting on august 14 2014 I think he has scored 7 goals and from start of th season till now all our mids put together have scored 9 I would say he is better than what we have

Playing in the portugese league right? In fact for a league like that, that is an appaling record. If you want to base buying a player because he 'was good enough for united' then we should be out there snapping up bargains like anderson and bebe, why not throw in obertan and a nearly retired luke chadwick whilst we are at it. 'was good enough for united' yeah when he had a 40 year old ryan giggs and ashley young as competition, I think the majority on this site would get in that team. Basing who we should buy because he 'was good enough for united', now that's a silly statement. Also, 90% of the players we are linked with are garbage, what's worst? I know everton fans, obviously, they see a player score a goal, have a good game, see he played for a decent team once, see he has an okay record in a crap league, watch specific positive highlights of him on youtube or even base it off fifa. Our fans love linking us with players they base off one thing and are blinded by that one thing and block out any negativity about their new fav. You see its not me who takes it personal, its the fans who go on sites like this and throw suggestions around because they remember a highlight of him scoring a goal once. They don't like it when me or anyone else looks at the negatives of a player they want us to buy. Hell there was a lad on here about a year ago called lew something who said we should get bilyaletdinov back because of his long range goals, really? Players don't go on a pitch and dazzle flawlessly for 5 minute highlights, they play much longer and its when these things are pointed out that the fan of that player takes it personally, not me. #martinezout

Wouldn't James Milner be a better option than Nani, more versatile and better team player. Maybe a free option in Summer but obviously wages would be a problem and attracting him to Everton .
