Baines will not leave anyone else who tells that he is is lying. Teams are just interested in him, who wouldn't, it's just that the papers have no stories so they decide to pick on us 'coz we have good players and no money. That's it

i doubt moyes will leave but if he does i think we should get do you know what to hell with it moyes is irreplacable players can be replaced so can managers but what moyes has done is something the greats would struuggle to do ,but do you ever get the feeling bargain buys may be his expertise because when he spends big he does'nttend to be brilliant i think pienaar is important to get on the transfer note how much on wages are we talking for Pienaar

Jonathan Pitroipa 7mill
Falcao 30mill
Abate 15mill

Maxi Moralez 14mill
Jimmy Briand 10mill

Agree0 Disagree0

Count and that adds up to 80 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's my spending:-

Pepe & Lichsteiner (Juventus) 12m/10m
Pienaar (obviously!) 4.5m
Ba (Newcastle) 18m

& then I'd offer the rest to Melanie Sykes to be my plaything for as long as my heart (& other bits!) hold out!

Toffee Tezza
IMWT (Isn't Melanie wonderful totty!) {Ed025's Note - out of all them tezza...melanie is by far the best signing..

Agree0 Disagree0

All your prices are way off. Falcao 30m? They paid 40m for him last season. And why, with £80m, would you get Pitroipa?

Agree0 Disagree0

Because Pitroipa is quality

Another example of our treatment by the BBC

from bbc live coverage of england

Since Ashley Cole made his England debut in March 2001, nine other men have started a game at left-back. Full marks to anyone who can name all nine without the use of the internet.

I'll give you five minutes before giving you the names
5mins later
Right, the other left-backs who have played 33 times between them for England since Ashley Cole secured his first cap are: Chris Powell, Jamie Carragher, Phil Neville, Wayne Bridge, Paul Konchesky, Joleon Lescott, Nicky Shorey, Stephen Warnock and Kieron Gibbs.

Anyone who got Shorey deserves a drink...

Wonder who they missed out he only played a few weeks ago! Oh yeh and he's on the bench tonight.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

God your so paranoid, what does it matter what the BBC thinks anyway.

Speculation about Dempsey joining a 'bigger' club have seemed to cool and it looks like Arsenal, the s**te and Chelsea have lost interest. If i was Moyes (and if he had the funds) i would bid 4 million for him. He scores a lot of goals and would be a great replacement for Cahill if he moves on to Asia. Thoughts Ed?

Jay EFC {Ed025's Note - he would do nicely jay..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I think if we sold Cahill the money would buy us pienaar straight away

Agree0 Disagree0

What was dempseys record before last season? I seem to remember that before last season Charles N.zzzsomething was the must have player. Is he worth a punt this time round? Just because it hasn't worked out at villa, like it didn't work for ppiennar at spuds, doesn't make him a bad player. Does it?? Blue Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

Nzogbia - I love it when players turn down Everton for some reason - a great club where it's players seem to like playing and have a great career at - like Johnny, Felli, Pienaar - you don't hear any of them moaning about Everton - and then you get guys like Nzogbia or the Kyles who go elsewhere and it doesn't work out for them - makes you laugh - what's wrong with some of these footballers - you'd think they would be queueing up to get into Everton - but some of the thicker ones just get led by the nose by their agents elsewhere - their loss!

Jefcbb {Ed025's Note - dont hold your breath mate..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I still don't understand why he is being linked to us. Firstly he is 7mil, we don't have 7mil, and besides Pienaar is priority. Not to mention Moyes never plays 4-4-2, it is 4-2-3-1 and Jelavic is handling the lone striker role extremely well, so we wouldn't waste 7mil on a back up.

Unfortunately Sigurdarson is off to Wolves, however I refuse to believe they've beaten us to his signature, even if we are skint I'm sure if we actually were interested in him and we had Wolves as competition he would be revealing our home kit in a couple weeks. I seem to have a feeling we have got some funds, Moyes never does his business early anyway and I assume we're waiting to get the Pienaar deal done first.

I've been having a bit of a thought shower Ed and there's a question I want to ask you, are you and the other Ed's possibly Sky Sports mysterious sources? Like when it says 'Sky sources understand that David Moyes will be the Everton manager next season (for example)' does it really mean that Ed025 understands that Davey will be the boss next season? Or am I completely off the plot and your real name is Tony from Kirby?

Why on earth would David Moyes want to leave Everton for Sours anyway? If he went to Spurs he would be under a ridiculess amount of pressure to succeed and after Harry has spent all the money he would be in a similar cash position as Everton. Their top players are about to leave? And work with Daniel Levy can only guarantee a short term career?better the devil you know. We're heading in one direction whilst Spurs will head in the opposite.Lets get behind our club and push for a European place next season. We don't need to buy stars, WE CREATE THEM! Paul P COYB

Believable5 Unbelievable2

We do create stars Paul. It's keeping hold of them thats the hard part. Bringing in a couple of new faces shows the players we want to push for higher league positions and may encourage them to stay.

It's good to see Moyes' name isn't being mentioned as much now. The papers just get us worried. Think about it, who has't been linked with the Spurs job? I'm shocked the Mirror haven't linked me with it yet! ;)

New premier league agreement means that Everton, even with their generally low number of televised games, should make at least an additional 37m for next season - and as the foreign premier league TV rights are also up for grabs, potentially far more (if they increase in line with the domestic game). If no money is made available for transfers and no assets are re-purchased, very serious questions need to be asked!

Believable2 Unbelievable3

37million!? This true ed? If so then that will or should clear our debt or at least most of it! {Ed025's Note - i dont know to be honest..

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be right found this on the net..

The English Premier League have just sold by auction their TV rights for the three seasons beginning 2013-2014 and ending
2015-2016 for another record sum: this time for £3.018bn, an increase of £1.25bn on the current deal, which ends with the 2012-2013 season.

Think this means we get the extra revenue in the summer of 2014

IMIT IMWT COYB
EFCwhitesocks

Agree0 Disagree0

That 37 Mill is not extra money...this goes into the club to pay the running costs. Last financial year the club net spend was 70 mill with the club making 65 mill. With the TV money being increased this might leave some money for transfers but dont expect any of that 37 mill from TV rights to go straight to The Moyesiah.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its an extra 12 million per club but foreign tv deals then can be organised by each club

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not yet money in hand, in the current climate we still need to be cautious about our spending.
I'm hearing some very worrying noises about man united their current gearing (debt/asset ratio) is unsustainable, Martin Edwards is rumoured to be terrified!

Agree0 Disagree0

All this extra money will be lovely, but the problem is everyone else will also have extra money. so everyone else will be able to bid on our targets and inevitably push up the prices and cut us out as usual! best thing bill can do is pay off the debts and get us ship shape for being sold.

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres also a new revenue stream with the online streaming rights still to be sold
