Most likely to happen then guys?
I'm going for Heitinga out, Lescott in, and an unknown striker on loan, along the lines of the Strac.

Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.
01 Jan 2013 22:19:32
What confuses me is that even though ed has told us all that he believes Lescott and Milner will sign, and the Everton players told him so, there are still massive pessimists. People are still posting saying that they won't sign. Why? What reasons do you have to believe they won't? Do you really think that just because you're opinion is that City won't let them go or that their wages will be too high that the Everton players lied to ed? It's common sense lads.
Enough is enough with this whole pessimism. I'd understand it if we were battle for relegation, but no, we're battling for CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFICATION lads, so why, oh why, oh why some people are so negative I do not know, I mean I've even seen people seemingly get angry over rumours linking players with us; I can only assume these people are kopites or mancs or something because I can't understand why any Evertonian would be enraged by transfer rumours.
I'll finish my rant by echoing what Dave said a few posts back; enough with the pessimism, there's no need, we're Everton aren't we?

I think Milner is on 150k a week at city mate, this may not help our cause
Degsy
01 Jan 2013 21:50:39
Milner no chance! City wont let him go but Holtby is the same quality!
I'd prefer Holtby as well, he's younger, more skillful and would presumably have a good sell-on value. I'd also prefer Odjidja-Ofoe but David Moyes is the manager of Everton so I'd be happy with whoever he got, within reason
01 Jan 2013 21:40:26
According to the guardian, Moyes has asked for an advance on the £20m+ extra we'll get from the new Sly deal so this Milner and Lescott rumour isn't as unrealistic as many may think. I don't know if he'll get the advance but if he does then this deal could well happen. Here's hoping.
01 Jan 2013 21:25:25
It's on ssn Sunderland want James Milner.
Who would you rather have?
Milner or
Vadis ofoe
I would prefer ofoe because he's a powerful box to box midfielder and probably would cost less and would want less wages which would be better for the club
Thoughts
Eddy {Ed025's Note - either would do me eddy..
Would take Milner, although would garner more wages, there is a reason for that. An Everton type player, proven in this league and could make a big impact for us right now, something we need since we are in the battle for 4th.
If people have been paying attention, Ofoe has been pretty poor thus far for Brugge this season.
01 Jan 2013 20:52:43
MILNER AND LESCOTT WILL NOT SIGN
And who are you like Bil Kenwright? Mike B
What is wrong with you? Why the pessimism? Why the anger? Absolutely ridiculous post, people like you both baffle me and enrage me
01 Jan 2013 20:52:28
I believe that we are interested in Milner but I highly doubt we'll sign him wages are too high and City wont let him go.
01 Jan 2013 20:28:59
back on the site for this transfer window and see that we may sign milner?! liked him at villa anyway i'll be posting regulary this month
paddock toffee {Ed025's Note - nice one mate..
01 Jan 2013 20:05:32
Ed will Hitzlsperger be offered a contract extension? I think Moyes should offer him a 1 year rolling contract because with all the injuries and were going to need to bulk the squad for Europe because i think if we don't get champions league I'm 90% sure we will be in Europa league. Cheers Mate Dan1. {Ed025's Note - thats 50/50 for me dan..
01 Jan 2013 19:51:09
Wolves fans reporting its a done deal with the young striker McAlinden and they are not happy.

Heard from a source within football that mites does not want to manage abroad, he will only take man utd job only. Si fellow blues I hope whiskey nose stays fit and managing them mancs for years to come. Then moyes will guide us to greater times and trophies.

Right... so what was that all about the other day when DM spoke about his liking for German football?
WonHungLo
01 Jan 2013 17:44:43
Cant see us signing Milner as toure is going African nations cup and mancini is already saying no one will leave, I reckon it will just be loan deals
01 Jan 2013 17:16:20
Milner and Lescott both playing today and Mancini said he wants to keep them...its a no go.
01 Jan 2013 17:19:38
Charlie Austin not in burnley squad, would take a chance on him but at the right price
He went off injured last game didn't he? That's probably why
01 Jan 2013 17:05:38
Ed any chance of giving us a few names who where interested in give us something to look forward to on the transfer window
Thanks edddy {Ed025's Note - look at the posts mate..
01 Jan 2013 15:40:11
Ay ed these Milner rumours seem to be gathering pace. If we can get him for anything under 10m it will be a steel typical moyes player aswell which is a big bonus. Fingers crossed. LIAM!!
01 Jan 2013 14:13:33
Sorry Ed I know you are receiving a lot of questions about the Milner and Lescott rumours but when you say that the players believe that the deal is close do you mean the players as in the Everton squad or players as in Lescott and Milner?
Thanks for all the hard work on the site!
Vausey {Ed025's Note - the everton players..
01 Jan 2013 12:48:46
Ed if you don't mind, could you tell me whether these James Milner rumours are real or not? I understand you have some inside info, could you tell us what it is? I've seen some rumours about him but I thought it was garbage then I read on and saw that you have heard something.
Cheers
BitterBlue {Ed025's Note - i spoke to a couple of players last night bitter, and they told me that deals for both of them are at an advanced stage, now nothing is certain mate..but they seemed confident..
Ok, cheers for that Ed, let's hope we sign him as I think he's a cracking little player.

01 Jan 2013 15:39:22
Heitinga is woefull lately so wouldn't mind if we cashed in on him, Barkley looked lost in midfield the other day! Is that is preferred role ed? Naismith needs to join a Sunday league club and I would play Oviedo over him any day he looks lively when he comes on! Jelavic showed improvement against Chelsea so looks good! I like it when we play two strikers as anichebe looks like he's making a handful of himself, 6 points from a possible 9 is brilliant considering the injuries we have so very positive and promising first half of the season COYB Tom
01 Jan 2013 15:25:04
I would like to believe the Milner stories but....he has started for City today....Lets hope he doesnt get injured
George
City have picked up a few injuries today, that may affect any decisions in relation to who's allowed to leave them this month.
01 Jan 2013 14:50:27
Strong rumour today that my wife is going to do some housework
It's about as likely as the Fellaini and Jelavic rumours
Fluffy01016
B.s rating? ha ha
01 Jan 2013 14:42:01
Out of ten?
Bent
Lescott
Milner
Ghilas
As in player ratings ?
Bent 6
Lescott 5
Milner 3
Ghilas (never heard of him)
Mike
There's more chance of us getting lescott than bent would have though lescott would be around 7 likely with Bent a 4
01 jan 2013 14:08:56
i think moyes should check out the belgian players in their league ? they are all great players ! we have mirralas, fellaini.chelsea have hazard, spurs have dembele, west brom have lukaku on loan, villa benteke . their international team very unlucky to be beaten by england last year- they were the better team by far !should start by getting ofoe and a few more from the belgian league
We should check out JELLE JOSSEN at Genk he's mustard {Ed002's Note - He could move next summer but Everton has not, to my knowledge, shown any interest in Vossen.}
01 Jan 2013 13:37:50
Right blues lets put Fellaini rumours to bed he has said that he wants to stay and see out his contract as long as the club is happy to keep him so no more Fellaini rumours please .Stef the blue
Saw that one.....makes me think does he want to move to a big club on the cheap in like 3 years time he can talk to anyone.....yeah ages away but still
I said it before sell he now and buy Barton!! Seriously barton would get 10-15 goals a year and qpr would sell cheap
01 Jan 2013 12:23:29
Mancini has said he wont be letting any players go in this transfer window so thats no Sinclair, Lescott or Milner. {Ed025's Note - we shall see mate..
Sinclair can't come anyway as he's already played for 2 clubs this season which is the limit in one season.
01 Jan 2013 12:20:46
Think James Milner would be a really good signing for Everton.Perfect Moyes signing!Decent age, versatile, works his socks off and probably cheap.Rob Walker
Completely agree, every time I saw him play for Villa, even for City, cant help but think this is a player Moyes would love. Would be a brilliant signing, hopefully Moyes and the board can pull it off, could be a decisive move for our top 4 ambitions, as is Lescott.
Milner is no good over rated the same as barry .
He wont be cheap, I dont see how we can afford him without selling Felli or Baines.
Milner and Lescott playing for city today so thats a no go i think...
Totally agree... i would love to sign him. Any legs in it Ed?
Toffee ace. {Ed025's Note - i would think so ace..
Just because they are playing does not mean a thing, its not like it has to go through to tonight there is the whole of Jan for this to happen.
01 Jan 2013 12:06:47
Just come on here to see rumours about Lescott and Milner? What's the story there, are they joining or what?
ToffeeTony {Ed025's Note - according to my sources tony its close, well thats what the players think..
Sounds positive ed, keep us informed pal
ToffeeTony {Ed025's Note - i will mate..
01 Jan 2013 12:04:46
With Milner linked will we still go for ofoe or holtby ed?
Thanks.
E {Ed025's Note - not sure mate, but i would doubt it..
01 Jan 2013 12:03:28
So Fellaini is having to move out of Liverpool because the local 'ladies' keep throwing themselves at him! He's lucky he is a top footballer because in times gone past he'd be railroaded out of town by the munter police.
Happy New Year!
Nostrawigus
Fellaini going nowhere, well for the time being, probably will be off to pastures new in the summer
01 Jan 2013 11:33:14
Any more news on James Milner Ed? Would love him to come to us. Johno! {Ed025's Note - i only got the info late last night johno, so no mate..
01 Jan 2013 11:31:50

01 Jan 2013 11:15:08
Milner? Sinclair? Lescott?
What are our chances Ed? {Ed025's Note - good, no, good..
01 Jan 2013 10:39:52
my transfer window would be sell heitinga 6-7m and bring in lescott on loan ofoe on loan and and a striker possibly Bent or demba ba
Andy
Sounds good Andy
01 Jan 2013 10:38:12
Ed, why is it that no news stories or anything are aware of the Milner deal. I saw you mention that the deals for Lescott and Milner are very close, does this mean they could be completed in the next couple of days? Cheers, Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - i would be guessing joe, the players just said they were close..
The players said they were?! Must be then.
Peter {Ed025's Note - they just said very close peter..
Do you mean lescott and milner said it? or everton players? {Ed025's Note - everton players..
01 Jan 2013 10:36:55

Lewis Holtby to be sold to EFC for cut rate price. Refused to sign new deal with Schalke. "On 28 December 2012 Schalke announced that Holtby wouldn't extend his contract which expires at the end of the 2012–13 season."
"Holtby's father, Chris Holtby, is a former British soldier from Liverpool who was stationed at RAF Rheindahlen in Mönchengladbach.[14] Holtby's mother is German. Lewis, like his father, is a fan of Everton F.C. and has said it would be a dream come true to play for them.
Lewis said: "My father was born in England and was a Everton fan since the age of five. He immediately infected me with the Everton virus! Since then I have been a Everton fan and have always followed their games."
But after Liverpool FC has shown interest in him he has gone on record saying that he wouldn't say no to Liverpool because his dream is to play in the Premier League. He said "I wouldn't even rule out Liverpool, even if it would be tough for my dad - he's an Everton fan".
01 Jan 2013 10:27:12
Which forwards are we looking at ed at this moment in time?
Thanks
Eddy {Ed025's Note - i never got a name eddy..
01 Jan 2013 10:24:57
Don't know where the Milner rumour has come from but I wouldn't mind, he's a great player that can play anywhere in midfield
EtidAaron
01 Jan 2013 10:20:29
Charlie Austin is odds on favourite to be our first signing of the transfer market, and Sinclair looks a possibility on loan, could that give pie afar the chance to play centre mid while Gibson out?

Happy New Year to all Evertonians from the west side of the big blue pond. 2013 will see the Toffees charging into the top 4, that is unless Sir Alex swoops in to buy all the Chang Beer at Goodison for 30 mil.
New Blue in the U
Is that you Tim?
As much as I like John Cleese, I cannot say that some call me Tim. Just a guy named Mike living in that formal colony for debtors and prisoners named Georgia starting a local Evertonian chapter.
