can i just say lets put this slagging the RS to one side cause we.re better than that and cause we have bigger fish to fry than finishing above them we're a team on our way up they're on there way down. very proud of the team today played them off the park delighted that jelly fish scored will do his confidence the world of good anyway coyb onwards and upwards

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Just a bit of banter lad..it's always a good laugh to rub their noses in it ;)

Murf

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we shouldn't mock the afflicted, I have to admit I was in genuinely in tears and all emotional last night when I saw their plight on the table, not laughed that hard for years!

Heard that the last time we beat villa away we won 3-1 and it was in 2004/05 season and we all know what happened that season? #ChampionsLeagueHereWeCome

Believable2 Unbelievable0

We beat newcastle and cahill and weir scored?

What's your opinions on the cup game Wednesday, should we carry on with this winning side, or should we put out a different side now that we are clearly CL quality?

Your thoughts fellow blues and Eds

Toffee ace

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I'd rest jags Fell jelly Gibson maybe baines

Agree0 Disagree0

I've no doubt that DM will change things around for the cup tie and revert to the current first choice players (if fit) for the match at West Brom on the following Saturday.
Cowpat Sid

Agree0 Disagree0

Same again get game won then make changes ste45

Agree0 Disagree0

Player all fringe players should be too powerful for orient good game time for Mirallas Naismith plus the likes of Barkley Francisco .deffo rest Felliani Baines jelovic

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, this is a good opportunity to give the subs and fringe players a chance, and maybe give Mirallas a full game...regardless, I'll be at Goodison for it and it's my first game in God knows how long, so I just can't wait! Up the toffees! COYB!

Murf

Agree0 Disagree0

Howard
Hibbert JH Duffy Neville
Coleman Barkley Osman Gueye
Naismith
Mirallas

Hopefully involve Garbutt and Junior too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would like to win a cup this season so we should take this competition serious BUT we can stilll afford to rest the likes of Gibson, Fellaini, Jelavic and maybe even Baines and one of Jags or Distin. Still a great side out capable of beating Orient.

Would expect Mucha to start so...

Mucha

Hibbert Heitinga Duffy Garbutt

Coleman Osman Barkley Pienaar

Mirallas Naismith

????

Agree0 Disagree0

Not Neville at LB! He's awful there, rather play Garbutt/Bidwell there

Agree0 Disagree0

We've got players who arent yet match fit and need 90mins in Naismith and Mirallas, would like to see Junior get a run out too

ToffeeMike

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I must admit if Barkley is to go on loan I hope it's to Blackpool holloway does things the right way and is very good at bringing out the best in young players {Ed025's Note - i agree..

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree mate, I like Holloway I think he's a quality manager

25 Aug 2012 19:23:11
Well...watched the game and we are just on fire! 63% possession at half time, and 60% at full time at an away game..that's unreal! Our passing and movement was phenomenal, it was just beautiful to watch. I can't get over it! Haha also, I've noticed a lot of negative comments towards Coleman on here, but when he came on he played like the perfect winger; whenever he got the ball all he had in mind was beating his opponent and getting the ball into the box, I was impressed with him tbh..he gives us something different! So yeah, we're third and are playing beautiful football, and the RS are bottom and crying about it. Happy days.

Heard a few people from France say after his initial breakthrough, Niang went very quiet quickly. A lot of money for a kid, hope he lives up. I'd like to see us take a look at mulumbu at west brom, sit him alongside gibbo, so solid. A friend is a Baggie and said he gets no recognition, and an outright candidate for mom week in week out. I'm a fan.

Team I would like to see with no new signings. (I no its not gonna happen)

Howard
Hibbert jags distin baines

Gibbo felli

Mirallas Naismith pienaar

Jelly

Have Mirallas Naismith and pienaar switching throughout the game. If we are playing a harder team push felli up to cf and play neville. Think the bench would also look really strong an could have a good rotation going with people like osman an Johnny and the host of young talents that we have.
