It really gets up my nose!, when someone googles the richest men on the planet, doe,s a little bit of research, Say! somebody with interest in sport!,Then fabricates a tale, that he in talks with everton, How pathetic is that!.. Also saying " hearing strong rumours!, So people post O.K mate sounds great where did you hear these strong rumours!, and guess what, no reply!.. your just messing with evertonians emotions! and its very wrong,. this is a great site for expressing opinions! and discusing genuine rumours, by that I mean the one,s circulated in the media!..and Ideas by blue fans themselves, So please stop posting this crap! unless you you can provide the sauce of your info, for other people to look up!. They have only just started the account recently, have no followers, following noone and seem to just posting things to try and get noticed.......

Im not being funny but why would we want to sign a 30+ year old player who has no experience in the premier league? i mean yeh pienaar is 30+ but hes a talent! But Prajnic? hardly used at bayern and no experience? maybe link up well with the jelly man due to crotian roots but thats about it.
Is it the replace or to bac up to baines? personally i like the second option as bringing in a 30 year old on a free transfer is usually donw to blobster the squad.
However, do expect 2 more deals maybe: pienaar and strong intrest in clyne, who is a promising defender, allowing for hibbo to drop back and neville to drop down into midfield and maybe his retirement is up in maybe 2-3 seasons? Hes a great leader, and you can tell that by the way the teams plays when he does, but we do need to look to the future with clyne, and swapping him and a bit of cash with baxter would be a great deal.
Possible a loan or maybe another signing? who knows, but youve got to expect the unexpected with everton.

Sorry but I couldnt disagree more,the season before he went to Bayern he had scored 20 goals in 30 games for Heerenveen and he is on a free,bargain IMO.

Dont really fancy paying 5m for pienaar is mean i think he is quality but its his age!

You have got a point 5m is a lot for a 30yr old but alot of the good attacking stuff we do, comes , comes through pienaar, and his work rate is second to none! so for me, if that

I just watched the press conference in the official everton website and the first thing I notices is that Naismith is a class lad. He's honest and down to earth and I can't wait to see in in the royal blue. Second thing I noticed is that moyes looks like he has a new leash of life. He has a spring in his step and even made a few jokes. Third thing I noticed is that moyes said his next job is to try an bring pienaar in. This summer has been great so far let's hope it continues. Nill Satis Nisi Optimum.

Just looking at the reports of the press conference. It was great to see Moyesy still saying we want to get peanuts but a bit dissapointing to see Naismith only wearing a training top and not the new shirt. Talking of which, I've now seen two home shirts one with the big mad white cuffs one without and both looked pretty genuine just wondering which is the real deal (if either). Any inside info Ed?

ive just been on the Everton website and watched which must have been the naismith press conference and moyes got asked about pienaar and he said he hopes to conclude that deal soon. plus he said he hopes to bring in a few more before the season starts. moyes makes me laugh (in a good way) cos he never gives anything away while getting asked about possible targets.

everyone needs to stop saying we are signing strikers, we have signed naismith and lets be honest moyes wont buy any other strikers cause they would end up never playing, he only ever plays one striker.

There is quite a few links with Cardozo, it's not unrealistic to think it could happen, moyes has to put his foot down at some point and get some money from the board, also I think signing another striker is good business. It's all very well saying we have jelavic but if gets a serious injury early on, it's difficult to see who would come in and lead the line, two top strikers mean we could play one up top against top 6 and try to be more expansive against the lower sides. Here's hoping!

I think he has only said publicly that he wants pienaar because it's not really a secret to anyone that we want him. I think DM has his eyes on a few more as well.

Frank Lampard has been linked with a move to LA, and was there watching their game last night. Of course, the MLS allows 3 designated players, and one of the three (Beckham, Keane or Donovan) would have to make way for Lampard. Not to mention, he has put his house on the market. Could we see Donovan in a blue shirt sooner rather than later? Hope so.

3 designated what players ?

MLS allows 3 players that can be paid outside of the cap so to speak (at least that is my understanding) these are called designated players and Beckham, Donovan and Keane currently occupy those positions for LA, therefore, if they want to acquire Lampard, who would be a designated player you'd expect, one of those 3 will have to leave.

And right now, if I had to say, Donovan would probably be the most likely, as they signed Keane a season ago and Beckham has just resigned

Of course, one of the three current DPs could drop their salary to be within the allowed cap...as if :-) Can't you just see them dropping down from several million dollars to around forty thousand per season.
