I'm tired of people whinging about people whinging, whinging is what makes this site great. So stop whinging about whingers, and let the whingers carry on whinging. whinging about whingers only makes you a whinger.

I have never been a winger but Everton are beginning to make me one. I was at Wembley in 1995 when I was in my 50's, now I will be 80 next year with no trophies since. My son who was in his 20's when we last won a trophy is now in his 50's. Just not good enough. Every year we start with high hopes only to have them crushed. This year is even worse since I was really expecting much better things from a squad which on paper is much better than we have seen so far. Then we get performances by the likes of Schneiderlin who wonders around the pitch like it's a Sunday pub game with the boys and Silva sulking on the bench. I want to see some bloody passion, some strategy other than the same away game crap. Brands has done well in recruiting and moving out fringe players. Now is the time for Silva and the squad to step up and give us something to make us proud and for God's sake let's win something again.

My sentiments exactly Mike. It’s time to turn a good 2 summers of recruitment into results and performances. Silva needs to find his best 11 and start to deliver. Home and away.

Blue mike I could not agree more, I am 68 now and went with two older friends that day, sadly they have passed on but I hope live to see us win a trophy and/ or compete in Champions league, we will never do it with the present set up at Everton it is so depressing.
I do not demand trophies but at least a team that has fire and passion and allways gives 110%. Has a plan to win games.

I watched that game as a 20 yr old. my son was still 5 yrs away from being born. he's 20 in jan. still no silverware.
I can't beleive how lucky i have been to watch us win, not only cups but the league. TWICE!
Its far too long for a club like ours.
