Quick well done to Walcott he gets some stick on here and I'm not one of his fans but could have thrown his toys out and said sod it I can't be bothered But he never he got stuck in and played well.

The word is consistency, those of experience such as Walcott need to encourage that and set the example.

Spot on Bill. He was very good yesterday and well done for that. But he needs to be both consistent and an example of. He has enough experience for us to expect it.

I have never been a Theo fan, but he showed yesterday that he still has the ability to be areal threat, he just has to do it every game.
Everyone stepped up yesterday and played with commitment, they have do it every game. Hopefully it is a confidence booster and we can use it to move forward.
Bernard played well yesterday, but I thought his touch was a little off, I think we a regular run of games (which he hasn't had) he can build on a partnership with Digne.
The one real positive yesterday was we appeared to have ditched zonal marking at corners for man to man. Maybe Marco can learn to change. The team showed they are still with him I think we have to stick with him.
I am not 100% convinced of Marco, but giving a manager a war chest and sacking him after 18 months. We buy more players while trying to move others on is not the way to progress.
I am not saying one win has made everything better. But of all the names posted on here as possible replacements ( and discounting the ones that we have no chance of getting) only Eddie Howe gets my vote
Look at the Spurs model. They have signed players astutely over the years, but now they have had to tighten their belt financially, because of the new stadium ( n. b. we hope to have that problem) they are now starting to have hiccups on the field. And even they have not managed to break the mould and win something for a long time.
