Dont understand why you are so relieved he has ruled himself out. Who do want as next manager?

Have you seen his CV?
I'm not sure who I want but just not someone that has managed second rate teams and been sacked from most of them. he was after all sacked to make way for Silva at Olympiakos for christs sake.
Ancelotti, Benetiz or any proven non mercenary manager will do!

I am with Brett on this, the mess we are in is a dogs of war effort, I would leave Dunc in charge for a couple of games at least, why undo all the good work from last Saturday.

Ride the wave, fans onboard, team onboard, why change so quickly.

I am not suggesting long term, unless we continue like last Saturday, let’s keep the momentum going for the time being.

What we all need to realise is however much we love the club we are not an attractive proposition for any managers with ambition. We haven't won a trophy for 20 odd years and haven't finished in the top 6 since god knows when. We'd all love a top manager but it isn't going to happen. We will probably end up with Moyes who hasn't won a trophy in any country since he was born.

Dont want a mercenary but you would have Bernitez. Why do you think he went to China. True meaning of the word mercenary.

So is ancelotti. I'd give it Dunc until the end of December. Keep looking in the mean time and re access the situation in the new year.
