A really hard working performance and good defensively. The difference they bring on Mahrez, De Bruyne and Rodri and we bring on Iwobi . Honourable mention for Virginia who had a really good game.

yep, hard working, if only virginia could have got more to tip the shot over we might have held on. he was outstanding and should be happy with his performance, would start with him next week. we just needed to take one of our chances. needed a 50 percent player in james to come on, but i feel progress is happening, just waiting for the negative fans to comment.

Which chances do you mean? Please don't just reply referring to shots at goal, I'm asking which ones you specifically class as actual chances? We went with a damage limitation approach, including time wasting at 0-0 so from that point of view think we did quite well to limit them to 2. I'm yet to be convinced about progress, we're certainly well organised in the main and do scrape some wins I guess - but I assume I fall in your 'negative fans' bracket because I have a different opinion to you.

Nothing about negative Davey. Everyone entitled to their own opinion.
However if you can’t see progress I assume you’re a glass half empty kind of guy.

Entitled to your opinion Davey. Just don’t think you’ll get too many fans to agree that we haven’t made progress this season. Man City weren’t built on one transfer window. They buy 2 or 3 quality players every summer. We’re heading in the right direction.

Well I would say Richarlisons over head kick, Minas header cleared off the line, snap shots by Richarlison and Gomes as chances Toffee.

richarlison had 1 which he felt he should have taken and the 1 cleared of the line, sorry if i should have classed them as shots, i am happy that after the last 30 years of hope we are starting to look like building a team.

We are a couple of players away from being able to give the top teams a game consistently and 4 or 5 away from consistently getting to Europe.
