Reading Leeds are interested in Tyler Adams and we might fancy him as well.
Imagine the Jesse Marsch links may sway things in their favour but we should be going all out for him. He is exactly the type of player we need.
Great bit of business from Leeds imo. Sell Phillips for 45m and then get him in for a snip.
Imo he is already one of the best cdm's in the world at what he offers and can't believe none of the big clubs are interested.
He is one of those players where its difficult to say what his strong suit is because he is comfortable everywhere.
He is fast with and to the ball and always aims to break through the lines either by driving himself and taking on players or playing it through.
He is very good at getting the ball back, his pressing is aggressive and he closes players down incredibly well. He has the ability to win the ball stood up as opposed to going to ground and always, his first thought is to play forward and start an attack.
With him being American he would also be an opportunity to further exposure in the states, should he go on to do well, which in my mind, there are no doubts he would.
We would be buying a player who would already be head and shoulders above anyone else in the team.
Reckon he would be available around the 20m mark which is an absolute steal.
Exactly the signings we should be making.
Lets watch him dominate the middle of the park at Goodison next season . but for Leeds.
