Godfrey, it's been a bit of a rough ride for him since joining us. Started off well enough, looked tidy on the ball, strong as an ox and liked to get stuck in. Looked like an astute signing at first. C.V. took it out of him and he hasn't been the same player since then. Last night, however, he looked more like the player we signed. That last ditch tackle late on was the difference in us taking
something from the game. He has been linked with a few teams, home and abroad, but I think we should stick with him for the rest of this season at least and concentrate our efforts on getting rid of both Keane and Holgate. If BG can get back some of his form then he is a better option than the other two.

Absolutely agree blue potatoe. Keane is dreadful and Holgate can't cut it in the championship, I'm not sure who is the poorer player they are both chronically atrocious. If Godfrey can return to any kind of form then he's twice the player in comparison to those 2 idiots.

Witty, Keane is the better of the two and, despite not being good enough, hasn't been all bad. He's scored some important goals for us dur8ng his time but, on the other hand, he has cost us points at the other end. Holgate has had one good season for us and comes across as a bit arrogant. By that I mean the way he plays, he thinks he's a lot better than he actually is.
Totally agree, mate. If BG can get back to his best then he is a far better player than those two combined.

Haven't we been trying to get rid of both Holgate and Keane for the last 3 seasons? There is are a couple of reasons why nobody wants them ability and wages.

Holgate is just another example of how poorly run the club has been. His wages are astronomical and he’s now proving to be a poor championship player. I’m not sure when his contract is up but we’re stuck with him only it his; we are burning what little money we have.

Coming from the left side perhaps Keane would be a better alternative than Beto. At least he can control and head a ball with a half decent shot.

Looks like the footy gods have listened for a change if reports of Holgate to Sheffield United are true. Another wage off the bill, 777 will only have to lend us 29m rather than the reported 30m this month!
FS, I'd rather have Keane as far away from our goal as possible so I'd go along with that mate. Providing we can't sell him asap that is.
