I don't believe Delph is coming here just to sit on the bench, so you have to wonder who in the team he is likely to replace?
My thoughts are that S&B know that at some point an offer will come in for Gueye that they can't turn down. So they are getting a player in early to cover this eventuality.
Now it's not all bad news. I appreciate Gueye has been an important player for us defensively, but his passing has never been great. I believe Delph if he stays fit is actually an upgrade on Gueye. He can pass a ball, has a good engine and is vocal. The key of course is he has to stay fit.
So don't despair guys if we get 25m for Gueye and only pay 10m for Delph, and improve our midfield. Then we'll done S&B. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘.

Maybe we’re going to play 433, so based on the assumption that Gueye is going to PSG and some of the rumours may have a smidge if substance
