I used to rate Michael Ball as a journalist. Today he's dropped a clanger and frankly just sounds desperate to Red bash.
This FA cup replay / winter break thing should be universally supported. Its the FAs problem to resolve. No player coach or club should be put in this position. Especially when the winter break is a Month late anyway and isn't even in its 1st year. Talk about pigs ear.

I have to agree with ed02 when klopp first took over at Liverpool he had a moan saying he didn't know about the Christmas fixtures and how he isn't used to it well boohoo surely he followed English football from Germany and is payed more in a year than we get in a lifetime so just get on with it.

They would still get a 12 day break.
Resting the players is one thing. but why does Klopp need a break? And what about the Shrewsbury players and fans - where’s their winter break?

Hopefully Shrewsbury win the game and get an even bigger purse from the next round.
It’s these games and the potential tv money which are brilliant for the lower league teams.
Who cares about Klopp a whinging anyway?
