Article on BBC about lack progress under Silva.
I just cant find any positives atm.
Digne is quality. Iwobi looks a player but needs to finish better, same with Bernard. Richy gone lazy again. Kean should play with kids to help adjust to prem league . Siggy finished and too slow at linking team.
Dunno The answer and don't want to be a club chopping and changing management but can't see Silva being here for West ham game.

Silva says Gordan is very close but doesn't want to put him in while team is losing. He may be the one who gives the team an edge. If he doesn't play we will never know. Certainly has more energy about him and flair than Siggy does. I'm a supporter of Silva but sticking with same players isn't going to help us. Change it up and try a basic 442 or 4132. I'd play Tosun alongside DLC or Kean.

I'm finding it difficult to see what Bernard did wrong to lose his place to Iwobi, why Siggy is still meriting a place in the side. I'm at a loss why we only have 2 very young and lacking in confidence strikers and Tosun who just hasn't proved himself in the Premiership
In midfield I can understand the 2 injuries upsetting the balance but I'm sorry, Schids hasn't deserved his place for a long time now and, although not fully convinced Davies, after his game for England U23's, would be a better bet
I know some people say it is wrong to play the youngsters when the team is playing badly but I getting a bit like Uran and thinking we need to draft Gordon into the side and maybe even a couple of others. What they lack in experience they will make it up in fearlessness/ enthusiasm and it would give the supporters a much needed boost
I watched Connolly, the young lad making his debut for Brighton before our game on Saturday. He was a breath of fresh air for them and boy, could we use that
It's time for Silva to experiment a bit but, if he does, it's up to us to get behind them, cheer their good moments but understand any mistakes.

Even if Gordon is another Rooney he is one young kid he wil;l not make much difference, changing for formation will not do it either.
What is needed is a better attitude and a desire to win and much better defensive coaching. i think we all know that the present manager cannot solve these issues.

Is the defence the issue though?
We know the manager can fix that, that was evident last season. What is worrying is, can he get us scoring goals?
If the defence is bad we can still win games. If we can't score we've no chance of winning.

You are right Smit. Attack is our main problem at the moment. There is a complete lack of confidence which is why there are so many sideways passes and nobody willing to take on players
Getting players to play with confidence again is always difficult which is why some fresh faces might help.

Well currently on 88mins in Newcastle - man utd game and a kid plucked from u23s to play alongside his brother has made a difference by scoring the current only goal if the game. I still think Gordon could make a difference for us because as it stands we are bottom 3 of prem.

Bernard could be in as a 10 instead of Siggy at the moment. Play Gomez instead of Schneids and tell Delph to do the holding role and stop trying to make 30 yard passes. 4 1 3 2 (Tosun/ Kean, DCL) .

wouldnt want any of our youth players near this cancer of a squad at the moment, send them out on loan to start playing, don't let thtis crop of bad eggs ruin them already.
